I live with my wife Amanda and our five dogs Buster, Gemma, Abbie, Max and Tilley.
Buster, a Collie cross, was around 2 years old when we rescued him. In his first week he pulled Amanda flat on her back. My dog training commands were a foreign language he could not possibly understand. We immediately decided to seek help.
Things improved so much that I rescued Gemma, six month later, a 15 month old working sheepdog. She was very nervous and aggressive, not house-trained and not in the best physical shape. In the first week she showed real signs of aggression. With patience, training and lots of hard work, Gemma and I now have a good relationship and enjoy each others company. We have gone on to regularly and successfully compete in agility shows across the UK and Gemma recently came 3rd in the National competitions.
After our success we chose Abbie a puppy, then later Max and Tilley, both rescue dogs. All have individual personalities and have specific training needs. It became obvious that our lives were focused around training our dogs.
I successfully passed my Diploma in Canine psychology with merit, accredited by the SFTR (National UK Therapists Register).

I can't believe a year has passed so quickly, it seems hardly any time since we met Neil and I explained the problems we had with Brandy. Neil listened carefully to us and explained in an easy to understand way what he thought was going on. We followed Neil's instructions asking him for help and advice when we needed it.
