Whatever the problem, be it: jumping up, pulling on the lead, biting, mouthing, nipping, toilet training, aggressive behaviour towards dogs or aggression towards humans, attentiveness (your dog won’t listen), recall (your dog won’t come back when called), destructive behaviour, chasing cats, squirrels etc, over exuberance, barking, crying, yelping, howling, separation anxiety, digging, escaping, chewing, puppy management, diet, food and nutrition, hyperactivity, obsessive compulsive behaviour, attention seeking, sibling rivalry, pack disorder or just general obedience training? Do not despair - Bark Busters will help!

Their kind, natural, humane training methods have helped a huge range of people to resolve all types of challenging canine problems. They achieve exceptionally fast results by empowering you with the knowledge and skills of how to ‘act’ and ‘think’ dog. They aim to promote a clear understanding of your dog’s needs and enable you to communicate effectively with your pet, to regain the control and to strengthen the bond between you and your dog.

It will surprise many people to learn that you CAN teach an old dog new tricks. Dogs love nothing more than pleasing their owners. They simply need to be given the right guidance in a way that is easy for them to understand. The Bark Busters approach recognises that ‘Happy Stress Free Dogs = Happy Stress Free Owners’.

Both Phillip & Craig look forward to meeting you soon, and to demonstrating how you can get the relationship with your four legged friend back on track.

Sammy and Max are two Staffordshire Bull Terriers. After realigning pack leadership and making some positive nutritional adjustments, Sammy and Max's loving owners became true leaders of their pack, achieving a complete transformation from dogs who were previously pulling on the lead, to dogs who now walk perfectly to heel.

Phillip Gazzard has been helping us home train our German pointer, Milo, since he was a 10-week-old puppy. Milo is now a happy, boisterous but well-behaved 10 month old, who recalls on command, walks beautifully to heel on and - amazingly - off the lead, sits, stays and never chews the furniture. No matter the problem, however big or small, Phillip has always made himself available with a ready smile and the solution. I have no doubt that Milo is as grateful to Phillip as we are for helping us to understand his canine ways and communicate with him effectively. The true measure, though, is in the number of people who come up to us to express their embarrassment at their own dogs' lack of discipline, or the mothers who walk by while commenting to their children: "Look how well trained that dog is - he behaves better than you lot do!". The only real regret we have about having such an obedient dog is that we no longer get to see Phillip. It's enough to make an owner invent a behavioural problem just so we can have him around for another visit.

Milo is a wonderfully spirited German Short Haired Pointer. He has a confident nature which would present more than your average set of expected behavioural challenges to be faced by the proud owner of a new puppy. Thanks to the dedication of his owners, Milo has turned out to be a truly wonderful example of a well trained adolescent gun dog. He is a true testiment of what can be achieved by bringing together a dedicated owner with the help and assistance of Bark Busters.

Within the first visit we saw an improvement. I've learnt a hell of a lot about how my dogs think which has helped me see my dogs in a new light. My partner wasn't sure it was going to work, but he couldn't believe how effective some of the things we were taught are. We are both very impressed and will not hesitate in recommending Bark Busters.

Bonnie is a 2 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross rescue dog. She was rejected by her mother at 6 weeks old, and rescued from a broken home. Her rehabilitation has included introducing Bonnie to other dogs to socialise her and teach her to trust the leadership of her loving owners, without the need to aggress against other dogs. She is making good progress and is now well and truly on the path to full rehabilitation.
