Hi, I am the Bark Busters therapist covering the Greater Glasgow area.
Unlike many of the other therapists I did not discover Bark Busters through owning a difficult dog. Instead I had accepted redundancy from my company and was actively looking for a change of direction where I could be my own boss.
I like to think that Bark Busters, in a way found me, as I was looking for a business where I could use my previous experience in training and developing people. The fact that I could combine this with a lifelong desire to work with animals was a fantastic opportunity.
As I did not initially have a dog of my own, I 'borrowed' Ragga to work with during my training. Ragga is an extremely dominant but lovable 20 month old Bearded Collie who was 'ruling the roost' in her owner's household. The time I spent working with Ragga and the amazing improvement in her behaviour only confirmed to me that I had made the right decision.
I now have my own dog, Deefa, who was originally "rescued" by Bark Busters head office in Cheshire. Tony and Carol worked very hard with Deefa and she turned into the fantastic happy dog she is today. In much the same way as Bark Busters found me, so did Deefa, at the right time for both of us. She now works as my assistant and often travels with me to help out on sessions.
I am so pleased I ran across Bark Busters as I am now working in a job I love and I have the satisfaction of helping owners understand and improve the relationship they have with their dogs.

I have a 7 month old Labrador bitch. Within minutes of training I had a new dog. She has continued to respond well to the techniques, which are so simple. I have already recommended Bark Busters to friends.

We are grateful for the training and advice our therapist has given us. The combination of a new diet, training and new techniques ,has given us more of an understanding of our dog's behaviour.By following all the advice our dog seems so much happier and content and he is a pleasure to be around. His jumping on visitors has greatly reduced and is continually improving and he no longer pulls when walking.
