Hi I'm Andy Waterhouse the Bark Buster therapist in London. I joined the company fairly late in life, having spent many years in teaching. I have always had a love of dogs and indeed during my childhood had ambitions to be a vet. With exam results excelling in arts rather than sciences, I instead opted for a career in teaching.
My first teaching job was as a VSO in West Africa and it was my dog Soccer who alerted myself and my companions to an imminent attack by armed robbers. Suffice to say the robbers were fended off and Soccer saved the day.
Although I happily taught for many years both abroad and in the UK, my desire to work with animals never abated. Consequently when I heard about Bark Busters there was no doubt in my mind where my future lay.
Bark Busters has provided me with a career which is totally fulfilling and allows me to help owners dramatically improve their dog's behaviour and to understand why their dog behaves the way it does. Clients often comment that what we do is like magic because our techniques work so quickly and are so effective. In reality it is simply that once you understand why a dog behaves in a particular way and learn how to communicate effectively with him, everything quickly falls in to place. No magic but plenty of know how.
What My Clients Say
Bark Busters value feedback so we give every customer a feedback form which may be returned freepost to our Head Office. Where permission has been given, these testimonials are taken from those feedback forms...
Andy was delightful and made everything so straightforward. He was authoritative and informative and included everybody in the training. The time just flew by whilst Andy explained how Sprout's behaviour was as a result of the mixed messages that we were giving. In fact, Andy trained us as much as he did Sprout. In just 3 hours the results were amazing.

Winston responded really well to the direction Andy taught us and almost seemed happy to have that direction. He still seems a bit nervous, which is at the heart of his barking at visitors but is certainly in the right direction. Andy really took the time to show us what and why we were doing what we did. No question - would certainly recommend.

Andy Waterhouse did marvels with my dog. I was quite dubious before. Now I believe in miracles!
