Hello, I am Phillip Gazzard, your local expert dog behaviour therapist and trainer. I am Australian born and have lived in London for more than 20 years. I am the proud owner of two Boxers, Dave and Cassie, and in partnership with my colleague Craig Steiff, our vocation is to transform people's lives with their dogs into harmonious and rewarding relationships.
We believe that dogs are never born naughty. Sadly, many dogs are condemned as 'bad' and needlessly surrendered, re-homed or even euthanized, due to their owners' frustration with failed attempts at understanding and communicating with them. Our job is to bridge this gap between human and dog: to bring about a meeting of minds. Any behavioural issues, regardless of your dog's age, can be modified and successfully cured using our kind, humane approach.
Every dog is an individual: their underlying needs, their environment and their experiences since birth all shape their behaviour. But all dogs share the same ways of interpreting human behaviour - and it is this that makes them very different to us. A happy relationship with your dog starts with you learning how to think like them, rather than imagining they think like us.
Dogs love to learn, and nothing is more satisfying for them than to please their owners. All they need is to be given the right guidance in a way that is easy for them to understand. Once you can understand your dog's needs, and how to think and communicate in 'dog', the rewards for you, your family, and your four-legged friend will be endless. Phillip is very knowledgeable and professional trainer. I was so impressed with Phillip's approach, and totally amazed at the positive results after my first session. Barley who originally led me on walks, was walking beautifully to heel after just 2 hours, it was an absolute miracle to see! I really felt as if I had become the leader and top dog in a very short time! Amazing start with Bark Busters. Thankyou! I could not stop hugging Phillip, the miracle man!!
