Hello,
We are your local Bark Busters Dog Behavioural Therapists.
Whether it’s jumping up, pulling on the lead, biting, mouthing, nipping, toilet training, aggressive dogs or aggression towards humans, attentiveness (dogs that won’t listen), recall (dogs that won’t come back when called), destructive behaviour, chasing cats, squirrels etc, over exuberance, barking, crying, yelping, howling, separation anxiety, digging, escaping, chewing, puppy management, diet, food and nutrition, hyperactivity, obsessions or general disobedience ~ do not despair – we can help!
Our kind, natural training methods have helped a huge range of people solve all types of canine problems. By teaching you how to ‘act’ and ‘think’ dog, we aim promote a clear understanding of your dog’s needs and enable you to communicate effectively with your pet, to regain control and to strengthen the bond between you and your dog.
It will surprise many people to learn that you CAN teach old dogs new tricks. Dogs love nothing more than to please their owners, they just need to be given the right guidance in a way that is easy for them to understand. The Bark Busters approach recognises that ‘Happy Stress Free Dogs = Happy Stress Free Owners’
We look forward to meeting you and showing you how you can begin to enjoy your dog again.

I was absolutely amazed at the results we got in such a short space of time. I had believed the problem may have been unresolveable and that Luke (our Staffie) may have had to leave the family home, but the session was like a miracle and fantastic for us all.

Luke is a 7 month old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier, and a wonderful example of a loyal family dog, dedicated to his own pack. Prior to the training session, Luke had unwittingly been promoted to leader of the pack, and in a state of confusion was reprimanding the human beings in the pack in an aggressive way. After re-aligning pack order, Luke is now focused, attentive, walking perfectly to heel and now dedicated to his master and lovingly devoted to the well-being of his whole family.

A great improvement in Red's responses. Information about diet -helpful. Positive encouragement given to us.

Red is a 3.5 year old male Golden Cocker Spaniel with a lovely nature, who had developed an unfortunate aggressive phobia to travelling in the car as a result of his association of a painful grass seed infection several years earlier and a trip to the vet. Subsequently Red continued to associate his fear of this pain every time his owners attempted to take him on a car journey which often resulted in aggressive behaviour.
Our first training session has incorporated re-associating Red's association of events to replace this fear with a positive experience and in doing so have made considerable progress, although further visits and work is still required in order to resolve the fear aggression entirely.
Red also presented other behavioural issues such as barking at the front door, jumping up and pulling on the lead, for which we have now achieved considerable improvements and resolution.

Phillip exceeded our expectations -Literally within minutes he had our two dogs behaving. Issues that have concerned us for months have been resolved almost instantly. We can't quite believe it. We now have a better understanding of our animals and are confident that we will all be happier now.

Barney is a delightful 3 year old Miniature Schnauzer and Oskar is a lovely 19 month old West Highland Terrier. Both dogs had mistakenly assumed leadership of their pack which had manifested in problems of barking and pulling on the lead. After re-aligning pack leadership to Barney and Oskar's devoted owners and putting in place effective leadership techniques and boundaries, Barney and Oskar have been transformed into the dream dogs that their owners always wanted.
