Hi, my name is Zoe White and I'm your local Therapist for Bark Busters Home Dog Training Cardiff and West Valleys, Newport and East Valleys, and the Bristol area.
I've always loved animals, especially dogs, and dreamt of working with animals ever since I was a little girl. It wasn't until 6 years ago, when I arrived home with my cheeky little English Bull Terrier puppy, Marley, just 10 weeks old, that I realised I was out of my depth. I'd always seemed to have this strong rapport with dogs, understanding and training them easily... or so I though!
After countless hours watching every dog training programme under the sun, reading all the English Bull Terrier and puppy books known to man and trawling the internet for information, I was getting nowhere, despite my best efforts. Marley was so excitable and had problems such as pulling on the lead, not coming back when off the lead, bossy with other dogs and me, jumping up, mouthing, incessant requests to go out into the garden and then having an accident indoors. Toilet training was a nightmare. I really was at the end of my tether, but desperate not to give up on Marley. I'd almost resigned myself to living with her problems.
Then I found Bark Busters and a therapist came to my home, helping me to understand why Marley was behaving the way she was. Almost immediately Marley became the companion I'd always hoped she'd be. Feeling inspired, I packed in my office job and trained to be a Bark Busters Therapist, so that I could help other people in my situation. I really understand how unhappy life can be with a difficult dog. I'm very lucky to have found my calling in life and it's so rewarding helping people and their dogs live happily together. I haven't looked back. If it hadn't been for Marley life would have been very different. She's really very special to me and now helps me to train dogs with aggression problems. It's funny how life gives you a push in the right direction sometimes!
The beauty of the Bark Busters training system is that it teaches you how to understand life from the dog's point of view. Most behavioural problems stem from the many common misunderstandings between dogs and their owners. The methods are very effective and are based on leadership, body language and tone of voice. What works well with most dogs, doesn't always work with "problem dogs". It's about adapting the training to take into account a dog's personality and behavioural issues. Apply my easy to follow training advice and just 15 - 20 minutes per day will see a huge improvement in your dog's behaviour. It's amazing how even some small adjustments can start to instantly improve your dog's behaviour, from the first session in many cases. If you're still not convinced read my testimonials from my clients.
ANY DOG, ANY AGE, ANY PROBLEM CAN BE ADDRESSED.
If you're struggling with problems like destruction, aggression, sibling rivalry, barking or howling, toileting, separation anxiety, pulling on the lead, or if you just want to get a head start with your puppy and have a well balanced companion, then I can help. It would be great to hear from you.
What My Clients Say
Bark Busters value feedback so we give every customer a feedback form which may be returned freepost to our Head Office. Where permission has been given, these testimonials are taken from those feedback forms...
The trainer had good communication skills. I was listened to and given opportunities to ask questions. All questions asked of me were relevant to MY dogs situation and background. Session using flip chart was very informative. Practical tasks were well demonstrated giving me opportunity to practice with my dog not just left a list of to-do's. I was left feeling hopeful of a positive outcome.

I am delighted with Olivia and Lola's progress, it has now been 2 weeks and I can see the difference. They have taken well to the raw diet, I think this has definitely helped with their behaviour. We still have lots to do but I'm convinced that we will get there.
