Angela visited for the first time on Saturday and we have already seen massive improvements with our two labs. The techniques she showed us were so simple yet really effective and walking our dogs has become much easier. They ain't perfect yet but we are getting there! Angela was really friendly, obviously very knowledgeable and patient with us whilst learning. Our only regret is not contacting her sooner!

Very pleased with the way things are going so far, moss is pulling a lot less on the lead, pleased with the way the training is going after only one week. I realise we have a lot to do ahead of us especially with moss's nervous aggression.

Alex was very warm and had a good sense of humor. He put us all at ease straight away. There was a lot of information to take in but it was worth it, as it made sense as the training session moved forward. It didn't take long for me to work out that it was me that was in need of training more than Drew.
I found it quite difficult at first to do some of the commands I was asked to do, but with practice I cannot believe the difference in Drew and myself. I use to get quite stressed on walks with drew now it is a pleasure. would recommend Bark Busters and if you are lucky enough to get Alex you will have fun and learn some pretty clever techniques.
Drew is a lovely dog, but a little nervous, especially out and about. Drew also has an owner who is a little nervous of other dogs, so walks were becoming a little difficult for the pair of them.
My training is very much about training the owner to train their dog so that the dog trusts them and feels safe when they are with them. Dogs really do pick up on how we are feeling, so a nervous or anxious owner will frequently result in a nervous or anxious dog. If a dog is nervous when out on a walk I want their default reaction to be stand calmly by their owner, rather than bark or snap. This can sometimes take time, but with consistent training, the results can be very rewarding.
I have also spoken to Drew's owner who can't believe the difference in her little boy. There is still some work to be done on walks, but I'm delighted with the progress they have made in just 2 weeks and I can't wait for the next session.

Where to start. Not even in our wildest dreams did we dare to expect such dramatic and immediate improvements in Bella's behaviour.

Angela has provided insights into Bonnie and Bailey's behaviour we were previously unaware of . She has provided some great guidance for moving forward with regard to walking them together which has been impossible until now. Thank you Angela!
12th August 2015Isla Clarke dealt with:
The training was good and Teddy is already becoming better behaved generally, he is sitting and staying when asked and not pulling on the lead or barking at the front door and he is also trying really hard not to chase the cat. We still have some work to do with his aggression and recall but it is very early days, we only had him from the rescue 2 weeks ago so we are still getting to know one another. He seems to be relaxing already though and the training has really helped with that.

Even after just one visit Bella is much better behaved and is responding much better to commands with less aggression. She's behaving much better on the lead and the training is also having a positive affect on our other dog. There's been an obvious change in both dogs and it has left us much more confident. Julie was fantastic! She explained everything clearly, demonstrated the techniques and helped us to understand the reasons for Bella's behaviour and her reactions to our commands.
Bella and her family are lovely and I'm so pleased that they found the training useful. It was a pleasure to meet them all.
10th August 2015Jo & Graham Milgrew dealt with:
Graham arrived punctually on both visits. He was courteous, listened well and was clearly knowledgeable. His calm manner was reassuring and effective for both us and our dogs. He was thorough, unhurried and ensured we had a clear idea of how to build on what he had demonstrated and where we could find reliable information on, for example, diet, a helpful lead or harness.
On the second visit he brought one if his own dogs so that we could rehearse how to help our dogs react appropriately to a strange dog.
We were delighted with the whole process from booking the appointment, the paperwork and mostly the interaction with the therapist. Thank you.
