What our Clients are saying about us
I am absolutely amazed at how my lil Jazz has responded. She has severe separation anxiety and has gotten worse since a lil baby has come along. But wow not even a week since our first session and she is like a different dog. I thought this was going to be the hardest thing to do but she has took to it all so well. Sleeps in her own bed, listens to her commands and the big one I found this morning was she was asleep downstairs on her own (she never ever leaves my side) happy and relaxed. Angela was just brilliant, I had got to breaking point with the dog as I can't even pop to the shop without the dogs anxiety getting out of hand. After Angela explained why Jazz is this way she is, it made complete sense and makes a huge difference in how we are with her. Angela didn't make us feel uncomfortable or belittle us. She listened to us, took it onboard and showed us the way. Fantastic and I can't wait for her to come back. :)J.G., Crosby, Merseyside15th November 2016
Angela was great with Louie & Harley, two very different behaviours, Louie very Anxious, nervous, timid & lacking confidence, would jump a wall to avoid children etc, scared of meeting people, Harley over confident, strong willed, demanding responses, thinks he's the pack leader, barking at other dogs, people when out on walks, obviously two owners needing a lot of imput & insight to their dogs needs, we found Angela to be very informative & knowledgable, training began the moment Angela arrived, both dogs, on Angela's terms were allowed to meet & greet, it was lovely to see how Louie responded to her. After a lot of time spent going over some basic techniques, which will be continued throughout each day until our next session, both Louie & Harley had a great nights sleep, ready to begin their reprogramming this morning, Louie had a good walk, a little less nervous, Harley had his first walk, without pulling, one bark only when someone walked around a corner, very quickly reassured & continued his walk, two people blocking his access, one bark, moved on without a problem, saw two dogs ahead, distracted very quickly & no issue, what a joyful walk for the first time in 12 months. Both dogs have a lot of work ahead as do their owners, but well worth contacting Angela, looking forward to this journey. Thank youC.S., Kirkham, Lancashire27th September 2016
We met Angela last year after trying various different trainers. She kindly visited us and our pooch, and has help support us using various techniques and skills. We fully appreciate and also committed to using all the guidance and made it fun for our boxer. We both feel more confident walking past other large dogs, and have formed great leadership skills so that our boy knows who is boss. We are continuing to use and put all in place all the training Angela has taught us, and we both feel without her we would be in the same position and not enjoying our walks. We highly recommend Bark Busters, they come out whenever they are needed and you have Angela's full support.J.W., Liverpool, Merseyside26th July 2016
Best money I've ever spent, before Angela came I thought we were on a losing battle, not like me to give up on anything, Enzo wasn't my dog and I originally didn't want to be involved, but he belongs to my son and Enzo was still part of our family. Angela has changed my whole way of thinking, the difference in Enzo on her first 4 hour session has been amazing. It's like having a different dog, Angela listened to all what we said, then set the standards and I think particularly for me we have challenged ourselves to train Enzo instead of him training us. With Angela's support, it's peace of mind knowing we chose to go for gold, simply just knowing you are always there if we need you just makes us a winning team :). Thank you Angela, Bark Busters certainly struck gold with you.L.R., Preston, Lancashire21st July 2016
This is our 2nd meeting with Angela and it has been great. Ben is a HUGE and very powerful Boarboel (Google it!) and he is doing great. Changing to raw food is a great idea too. Angela will be able to guide you through everything and give you guidance in areas you probably hadn't even thought of. Get in touch with Angela if you need any sort of help with your dog.M.C., Preston, Lancashire5th December 2015

Angela was brilliant with us and Barney. She gave us advise on what to feed him and nutrition. We had so much fun doing brain games with Barney and are so pleased with how clever he is. I have already recommended Barkbusters to my sister and friends with puppies

Luna is responding well to training. I liked Angela's holistic approach and have done research into food and flea treatments since I saw her.

So Jasper has graduated today! What a wonderful difference Angela has made to our beloved 5 year old crossbreed. Jasper has always been a lovely family dog but had anxiety issues which made him react to other dogs, barking and pulling on the lead. This made walks quite stressful and something none of us looked forward to. Angela made us see that Jasper simply needed direction to see he didn't have to 'take charge' and that he had permission to relax. Angela's fun exercises both in and out of the home let Jasper see he could do that and he very quickly turned consistently to me for positive behaviour cues. I really would encourage anyone to consider Angela's fantastic techniques - her calm personality and love she shows towards Jasper has had such an effect on both him and me! It really is consistency that is the key - Angela showed us the way and its down to us to keep it up. Jasper hasn't forgotten exercises we learnt 12 months ago! It's given me lots of confidence and so much pleasure to see how Jasper has grown up and evolved - and it's never too late to start (Jasper was 4 years old). We've been lucky to have a lively, friendly and loving dog to begin with - he's now an even better version of his beautiful self! Thankyou Angela it's been amazing xx

Well, what can I say, We met Angela for the first time yesterday, what a fantastic lady she is. Having had lots of rescue dogs, Buddy is our first puppy in over 30 years, he a 9 week old German Shepherd and shall we say..... lively!!!!!
Her attention was all for Buddy , who of course took to her straight away, and the puppy training techniques Angela has are brilliant.
This lovely very knowledgeable lady gave us tips on doggy nutrition as well. Within a day I can see a positive change in my fluffy bundle of fun and I'm sure, in the weeks and months to come, we are going to have a lovely well trained happy dog.
Really looking forward to our next lesson in a few weeks and showing Angela how well Buddy's done.

Angela Young visited us & our home & it became apparent from that moment one of the issues we had, we just never had a name for it!! But barking constantly from visitors coming from the front door to the living room! Angela greeted myself & hubby & took control of the situation with the 3 barking pooches!! Angela then greeted them & explained how she communicated with them, as me & my hubby were still gobsmacked! She explained the reasons why they would not listen to our command as they knew could play us, and I knew we were doing something wrong, but when it was explained it brought realisation what Angela was saying was so true, both Alfie & Ruben were rescued from such a young age and Alfie demands constant attention since he came to us back in 2010, and something I thought we had dealt with realized we hadn't more so when Ruben came to us back in May of this year, he had been a subject of cruel behaviour from young to old, was under fed & showed physical damage to his mouth etc. The issues that Ruben came with was fear when anyone he didn't know came in the house & he growled & barked at them & when he realized they would not hurt him, he settled down. But issues that have followed on is protection over food & items, even over Mollie & Alfie's food, so we discussed this all in depth, to continue to be consistent around meals times, from time Angela came & went 4:5 hours, nothing was rushed & she got us doing things with the pooches, and felt pretty amazing. I have always been in awe when watching certain programmes around pets with issues & thought either wow or bet that took more than the few goes in 1 sitting, but how wrong was I, and Angela showed us something that left me speechless & my husband. She could read our dogs behaviour & ours & highlighted were & what issues were & left us still amazed on how to continue to carry on what she taught us, and have the reassurance that she is there to support us through a process to correct any unwanted behaviour, bloody brilliant. I love Ceaser Milan & how he just gets & corrects, Angela is the female version & I had goosebumps last night when I seen results & even now when I reflect back, my personal assistant came in today & even she has seen results, as we text her last night & told her to ignore dogs when come in & greet us first before the 3 pooches & worked a treat, we were also advised to create a safe place for them to sleep and stop them sleeping on our bed & we started with off bed in their bed last night & took about 20 mins to keep reinforcing & good night sleep by all & stayed in their beds until hubby got up for work, so again amazing, and its with Thanx to Angela Young, who helped achieve things that we knew were issues & needed help to sort. Amazing & would highly recommend this lady, as to what was achieved in 4/5 hours last night has paid off today & will continue with us following her lead & our pooches following our lead, rather than pooches doing what they want when they want, as we let this happen coz we thought we were doing good, but all we did was created a issue for unwanted behaviour. Angela said you are being a leader and putting in boundaries as you would with children. She had a great knowledge & a vast of understanding & we can not thank her enough xx

After our session with Angela I understood that we hadn't been communicating with our dogs in a way that made them see us as top of the pack. Although we have only been training with them for a week or so we can already see a shift in their behaviour . For the first time yesterday I was able to get Bailey ( our dog that escapes the most ) to come back to me using a technique shown to us by Angela . That felt amazing , we now feel we are going to be able to eventually let our dogs off lead without them being in danger by running off. If you're willing to put in the work with the training techniques shown you I truelly believe you can work miracles with any dog. Thank you Angela young & bark busters .

Angela was great. Very easy to talk to & helped to explain why I was having issues with Gizmo. She set tasks to do with him & hopefully now I have been 're-trained' Gizmo & I will be able to enjoy a great time together. Would highly recommend her.

We've just had our third training session for Quinn our 17 mth old Golden doodle. He has progressed well after the first 2 visits but was still getting excited meeting other dogs and visitors. Angela has given us some very useful techniques which had an immediate impact and the best thing is Quinn thought they were fun. She is great with him and our other 2 dogs and I'm sure our feedback in 4 weeks will be very positive. Angela has given us great advice that will help all 3 dogs and provides a friendly approach to the training.

When Angela Young first came to see us Riley, a gorgeous Labrador boy, was just 6 months old and, whilst reasonably well behaved, he suffered separation anxiety and I was also struggling with recall and pulling on the lead.
Angela was incredibly patient and talked at length about general behaviours, nutrition etc. Everything Angela said made perfect sense! She gave me tips on reducing Riley's anxiety at being left alone for short periods and on how to correct his pulling whilst on the lead. Angela also had some great tricks up her sleeve to improve recall and distance control that worked like a dream for a few days until Riley got wise. So, on Angela's return we did more work on keeping him more interested in me than being distracted and chasing off after other dogs / people / leaves / litter!
Within a few short weeks Riley learned exactly what was expected of him for us both to have fun walks and he is now a happy, healthy boy who is well behaved. He does still have his moments but he is after all still under a year old.
I would not hesitate to recommend Angela she has an incredible understanding of dogs and a real empathy with them, Riley responded to her almost immediately on meeting her.
In addition to be a super dog trainer, Angela is lovely, easy to get along with, warm and friendly.
Whole heartedly recommended.

We are very hopeful that Angela will be able to help us with our dog. On the first visit she spent many hours with us explaining why our dog behaves the way she does and what we need to do to correct it. She is really easy to get on with and is very patient and understanding. I feel comforted that we can sort our problems out and just wish that I had done this sooner! I didn't understand why our dog had these behaviour traits but I do now and with that understanding it is easier to correct it. Her methods are easy to follow and understand and we have already seen a difference in our dog's behaviour. She is calmer and a little more subdued as we take over the leadership! I strongly recommend Angela and if you are having problems with your dog please don't leave it as long as we did before you get the help you need.
