Sharon Chapman dealt with: Separation Anxiety

Sharon spent plenty of time discussing the problem and running test separations, before offering advice and suggesting a plan of action. She encouraged ongoing contact for updates on the dog's progress. Her focus was clearly on resolving the issue.

Very pleased with initial three hour session. Sharon answered many of our questions and gave us lots of valuable advice and guidance for dealing with a boisterous puppy. Sharon helped us to understand some of the mistakes we had already made (puppy pads, retractable leads, etc) and gave us some guidance on how to better deal with these issues. The use of proper training leads for recall and close walking are proving invaluable - unfortunately the current weather conditions have limited the recall training but initial results are proving positive.

Sharon Chapman dealt with: Aggression to a dog or other animal or where the dog is aggressive to the owner or a stranger Barking at people, dogs, animals, birds or where the dog barks for attention or at the slightest noise Hyperactivity

Really useful - we have learned a lot about Teddi and why he is behaving as he is. Sharon gave us simple training activities to do which have really made an impact already.

Sharon has made a noticeable difference with Rosie from the first session. Rosies problems are mainly towards other dogs and her nervous personality. Sharon has given us great advice on the different areas that Rosie needs to improve on and it is working. We understand this will be a long process but Sharon seems like the best person to help.

Excellent advice and after a month or so we have seen a real improvement in Ella

She is walking on the lead so much better and jumping up much less and in addition her general responsiveness is markedly better.

We also changed her diet after advice from Sharon and her coat and toilet habits are much improved.

Sharon came to us after we had problems with a new rescue dog and one of our other dogs, Sharon was so helpful and reassuring with excellent methods that really made sense. we had lots of questions to ask and she did not rush us at all and spent most of the day with us, we felt a lot more confident when she left and its nice to know she is only at the end of the phone

Sharon Chapman dealt with: Hyperactivity

Ourselves and indeed Charlie got a lot out of our session with Sharon and she left us with hope of achieving the pet that we all wanted. Unfortunately we had to rehome him a few days later due to an incident with our daughter but still feel that he could have responded to the training.

Trainer note from Sharon:
Having a young, large bouncy dog in a house with a young child is always a difficult situation and sadly in this case the child didn't listen to what she was told and the result was that the owners decided that it would be better for Charlie to be rehomed, for both their daughters and his sake. It is a tough decision to make and the owners should be applauded for making the right decision before the situation got out of hand.

Charlie responded well to the training and in a calmer environment will thrive.
