Tonight was our first session with Sharon, she gave us lots of easy to understand advice and helped us to learn how to continue training Breagh who is an eleven month old border collie. We were given advice on her diet as well as her obedience. Breagh responded really well and we have the confidence to continue until we see Sharon again in another two weeks.

Sharon explained things very clearly and helped to put my mind at rest about the personalities of the dogsand why they may be behaving as they do. It has given me confidenceto continue with the dogs andso far they are showing more attentiveness when on a walk - but we have a long way to go yet.

Sharon is lovely. I was nervous expecting to be criticised, held to blame in some way. She was calming, reassuring and professional. Explained things in a way I could relate to. Set some exercises in place which we practised. Took us for a walk to observe his fear with other dogs. Advised afterwards. Left us feeling calm and in control. Now awaiting her second visit which she mentioned bringing one of her dogs along to introduce a positive experience for him.
Bo is a lovely young GSD he is just not sure of other dogs, so he barks but due to his size and breed he can be misunderstood, Chris needed to know that he wasn't naughty or aggressive, just unsure. Since receiving her comments Bo has met my dog Rafa and is beginning to understand that other dogs aren't scary but good fun to play with, and Chris now has the confidence and knowledge to ensure that all his experiences with other dogs are positive.

The advise I received from Sharon was very positive and helpful. I realise that I am to ready to tell the dog off and not giving enough praise.
This is a first time dog owner who just needed some reassurance that she was doing things right, as she has stated she was quick to tell the dog off but not quick enough to praise when the dog responded, she also needed some guidance on helping the dog make the right decision. They should both be much happier now.

We are very pleased by the assistance given to us by Sharon, we can not thank her enough for what we have experienced and learnt to date, it's excellent. We were amazed at the training Sharon took us through as we could see by Bobby's face it was having an impact on him. It was fantastic to see Bobby responding so positively to Sharon, it also gave us both confidence, and we had lost a lot of confidence with Bobby snapping at us. We have also evolved along with Bobby in the training and I believe my husband and I now understand a lot more than we did. Bobby is going 'great guns', he actually enjoys his training and appears to be a much happier dog, he looks and acts happier. We don't always do it right or catch Bobby quick enough but as Sharon told us, sometimes the moment is lost but not to worry about it. My husband, me and out Bobby dog are now a much happier trio, trust is much better on all parts, it's a pleasure to see Bobby growing in confidence and enjoying himself more. We work on Bobby on a daily basis and whatever we do during the day we still carry on training, just re-enforcing everything we have been taught.

After a few bad experiences as a pup Dexter has become fearful of strangers and new situations. He is lead reactive when out and reacts to most noises at home. Everything Sharon said made sense and Dexter relaxed a lot more quickly in her company than anyone elses.
Freyja has always been a shy pup, but she has started to growl and bark at visitors.
Since the visit, both dogs have improved considerably and I'm sure we will continue to see more of an improvement as time goes on.
I would thoroughly recommend Bark Busters to anyone.
