Although common sense, this seemed to have escaped us whilst raising our dog! Love and affection, but got lost on the discipline! After only 3 hours with Tina, our "pride and joy" is now calmer less vocal and a lot less "protective". Still a way to go, but his new temperament is visable to all who know him, not just his family. Only sorry it took us so long!
A cute little dog, but had managed to get the whole family under his paw!! He had been growling and attacking the husband when he gave his wife a hug, was barking excessively at the front door and passers by along a foot path next to the house. I showed his owners how to give him what was missing in his life, i.e. structure and how to stop the barking and agression. The owner's mum attended the session, as she often looks after the dog and understood that the work needed to be consistent. She has reported that things are so much better with her too.

Tina was very ggod. Explained everything that she was going to do, how our dog should behave and what we could expect from the the training. After her first visit it was like we had a new dog; an overnight transformation. Never before thought to change his diet and that we were doing this to him. He is calmer now, much more relaxed.
This large 1yr old Boxer was exceptionally boisterous, bullying most of the family by jumping on them all the time, demanding attention and in the process hurting although not having an aggressive bone in his body. Several members of the family had to shut themselves away from him. He'd also headbutted his way out of his crate which had to be locked to prevent him hurting himself. An exhausting session, but by the end he had respect for all the family and having changed his food, he is now becoming the boy they had hoped for.

Very helpful and reassuring session with Tina. Training methods well explained and fairly easy to follow. Good dietary advice too. Thank you!
This session was with a Bull Mastiff and an Akita, both young adults. The Masitff was very friendly and runs up to people to greet them, scaring them half to death because of his size and the Akita has bullied a couple of smaller timid dogs. These activities have caused friction between their owners and neighbours when out walking. Akita's, often quite aloof, can seem hard work, but once they trust you as their leader they do listen and respond to commands. Mainly we wanted to achieve "stop" and recall with both dogs to have full control and following my second visit they are both on their way to this.

Tina was brilliant at explaining the theory and practice. The initial session was fun and the rewards are already showing. It was wonderful to not be nearly swept off my feet this morning on the stairs! Thank you Tina.
A labrador and Jack Russel whose recall on walks was causing much frustration; the Jack Russell was off chasing rabbits and totally ignoring all attempts to get him back and the labrador came back, but only in her own good time! They were model pupils, taking in all the foundation training and thoroughly enjoying the attention. Next session will involved more work teaching recall and getting them more attentive to their owner.

I thought Tina was excellent! Yogi seems to respond well to the training.
Yogi, a gorgeous Tibetan Terrier was doing all the "usual" puppy behaviours. i.e. mouthing with his rather sharp teeth, jumping up at the children, stealing shoes, tea towels and the children's toys! I explained why these things were happening and showed his owner how to provide a more constructive regime for him andteaching him that some behaviours were just not acceptable. If there is a relapse, I will of course be on hand to help.

Harvey instantly understood what Tina was communicating to him and we learnt how to achieve this too by becoming pack leaders. With lots of practise, we hope to be able to control Harvey when he is off lead for his safety and our peace of mind. Lots of very interesting diet advice also - such a worthwhile session.
Harvey is a stunning looking Borzoi cross, (we think with Border Collie) He's a rescue dog and having been a stray has "hunted" for his food. It was therefore important to ensure that his diet was satisfying both nutritionally and texturally to reduce his need to hunt. We have put all the basics in place and as he responded so well in the first session, long lead work and recall practice will be the next step.

Very pleased with our first training session. Looking forward to putting everything into practice and learning more.
A beautiful young Samoyed, but just turning into an adult dog and pushing the boundaries! I showed his owners how to communicate with him so that he understood quickly giving lots of praise when he responded well. I showed how to get him to focus on lead teaching him how to walk calmly at heel without commands or any harsh use of the lead. He's a gorgeous boy and consistent training will get him to be a joy to have.

The difference in Tia was amazing. We still have a way to go (she's only a puppy still), but with Tina's support and help, I know we will get there. Thank you.
A young GSD who had become rather "pushy"! An elderly neighbour who came in to feed and let her out some days was being jumped on and potentially knocked over. I showed her owners how to set up training sessions not just wait for the naughty behaviour so that they could train when they were able to concentrate. Her leadwork is improving and her behaviour indoors and the garden is now so much better.

Tina was very helpful. Billy responded immediately to the techniques used and was surprisingly obedient!
Billy had previously belonged to an owner who had used Bark Busters in Merseyside, but had to rehome him due to personal reasons. As a result Billy remembered very quickly how it all worked. I took his new owners through the whole programme and showed them how to control his barking, aggression and leadwork. He was a star pupil!

My 3 dogs responded so well to Tina's training techniques to address the problems we as owners had. Her calm attitude, pleasant but assertive approach made the training both a pleasure, but also so rewarding. The best thing I could have done for all of us was to contact Bark Busters.
I worked with 2 of the dogs, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier and a Yorkshire Terrier, each with different issues. I showed their owner how to change the way they perceived her, so that they became confident in the decisions that she made instead of making their own. Within a short time, the Yorkie had given up barking (it had been constant!) and took himself off to sleep and no amount of ringing doorbells, knocking or tapping the window would rouse him from his slumber!
