Misty had been rehomed at least 3 times before she came to me and after trying various different approaches with her I realised I couldn't cope with her any longer. However, when it came to take her for rehoming yet again I couldn't go through with it and decided to seek help from Bark Busters. I couldn't believe the response during the initial visit, I feel we are beginning to understand each other for the first time in 15 months she has been with me. Finding the whole procedure very emotional and rewarding! We have lots of areas to work on but I feel with perserverance Misty and me have a happy future ahead of us thanks to Diane.

  • Aggression to a dog or other animal or where the dog is aggressive to the owner or a stranger
  • Barking at people, dogs, animals, birds or where the dog barks for attention or at the slightest noise
  • Jumping up at visitors or the dog jumps up at people on walks
  • Pulling on the Lead
  • Sibling Rivalry - aggression or fighting between dogs in the same household
  • Separation Anxiety

Excellent first training session with immediate results. They both soon learned that I was the pack leader and are calmer as a result. It still takes plenty of practice to stop barking when the doorbell rings, but I'm sure with perseverance we will get there. They do not bark at passers by any more, which is a huge step.

Sandra was very helpful and not patronizing. I feel well equipped to start training my puppies so that they become happy, healthy and well behaved.

I look forward to the next training session.

Brilliant - just brilliant! Isla was great -she immediatley understood the problems and after discussion came up with a plan so that we can all work together to rectify the areas which need attention. She gave great tips, a work plan to enable us all to achieve our goals. Such a wealth of knowledge - here's to a successful outcome - thanks!

Tina explained everything in an easy to understand way and the techniques used on Buz proved to have success in a very short space of time.

Buzz is an excitable young Border Collie who through necessity was living with the owner's friends. They were having problems with him pulling on the lead, jumping up and getting so excieted he wet himself!! I showed them how to keep him calm around visitors and to stop him from jumping up and to walk well on lead. He's a very responsive sensitive dog and with consistent work he could be an absolute diamond.

Very inspiring and encouraging. Thank you Tina for your lovely approach.

A Jack Russell who was exhibing aggression to certain people visiting and at the owners place of work. I showed the owner how to regain control of her own front door to show that she was in charge of visitors. He responded extremely well and I have no doubt that the commitment of his owner will ensure complete success.

How difficult can it be I thought? How naive was that for a first time dog owner. Both Teilo and I couldn't have done it without Phil's help - and it's on going - but his patience, enthusiasm and depth of knowledge has been invaluable. Thank you.

Jane was extremely clear about why and what to do. She certainly was able to control Ozzie and pass on valuable training information to me and my daughter at this session. Three and a half hours was very intense; perhaps you could consider two shorter sessions closely together in time.

J.D., Three Bridges, West Sussex

Ozzie, like most puppies, had bags of energy and also his own ideas of the way things should be done! The owner quickly understood the kind of leadership that Ozzie needed and Ozzie responded well to the first exercises we conducted. The sessions can be quite intense as there is a lot of information to be passed on, but they are a lot of fun too and I always leave handouts, training tips, homework notes and lots of information for later reference by the owner.
