Found the session very good. Extremely impressed with Diane's knowledge, patience and understanding of both ours and Coco's needs.

  • Barking at people, dogs, animals, birds or where the dog barks for attention or at the slightest noise
  • Recall or not coming when called

Sharon had a very professional manner about her, but at the same time was also friendly and polite.

Her way with the dog showed her experience and the methods she used for the training were obviously successful at the time. We suspect that even at an early stage, we will see good improvements with our dogs behaviour.

Jane is a very pleasant lady with a great deal of patience. She taught us a lot about our dogs and ourselves. Hopefully we will accomplish what she set out for us to do.

With two dogs in the family, there is always more work to do, but these loving owners were determined to do the best for their canine companions. Two dogs often look to each other for reference, instead of the owner, so the dogs were worked sometimes together and sometimes separately. Moving from the human viewpoint to the canine one, the owners were quickly able to communicate to the dogs what behaviours were unacceptable to them by using a language that the dogs could more readily understand. They are lively and loving little dogs and are beginning to listen very well.

Mojo is so much calmer following the change in diet and initial training. Tina showed us what we were doing wrong and most of the training is so logical when we think about it. Now we know what to do and how it's up to us how he turns out, but we are really pleased with the progress so far.

Mojo is a great little Minature Pinscher who lives next to a public footpath and was driving his owners mad with incessant barking. Also there was the problem of children teasing as they went past.
Mojo responded very well to the training although he was resistant to recall initially. His owners have worked hard to get him to the level they have so far and can continue the improvement with my support throughout.

Very happy with Craig. Molly and I get on well now, and Molly is responding really well. I am very pleased with the training so far.

Jane is supportive and understanding of our needs to train Rolo - Rolo has responded well with hard work - he is stubborn! For the first time we feel more in charge and understand his behaviour. The cat and Rolo have been in the same room without the cat being chased away - we cannot believe that Rolo sat calmly as commanded whilst the cat walked around in front of him - amazing! Walking on lead has much improved.

J.W., Woodhatch, Surrey

Rolo is a great little dog who, despite his determination to do things his way, responded well when his dedicated owners took over the authority position. He was kept off the sofas and chairs so that his elevated sense of status within the pack was reduced. By being taught to wait respectfully at doorways, particularly at the door to the garden and the front door, until given permission to go through, Rolo is learning to view his owners as true pack leaders. He has great focus and despite that stubborn streak, is a fun little dog to work with!

Very pleased with session and progress made since then. Gracie is walking with me instead of pulling me along. I am walking her - she is no longer walking me!

Mr. Steiff has helped me to understand a lot about how a dog's mind works. Also with changing the food and when to give the food.

  • Toileting

The crate training has helped almost overnight with his toileting. Diane explained the reasons why Louis has been doing what he does, which of course all made sense when viewed from a dog's perspective rather than a humans. A very interesting session and both dog and humans learnt a lot. With the training methods Diane gave us I think we shall definitely have a happier dog.
