Dog Obedience Trainer & Behavioural Therapist

20th January 2010

  • Barking at people, dogs, animals, birds or where the dog barks for attention or at the slightest noise
  • Hyperactivity
  • Toileting

Charlie has responded to Mrs Clarke's therapy amazingly well and I am pleased with the thorough and incisive way in which she worked and surprised at the reasons she gave for Charlie's inacceptable behaviour.

  • Aggression to a dog or other animal or where the dog is aggressive to the owner or a stranger
  • Recall or not coming when called

Although this is an expensive commitment, it is reassuring to know that help is just a phone call/e-mail/visit away and that if we are struggling and needed further help then it is there for us, as and when we need it. Isla was very professional but friendly, patient and reassuring and a pleasure to work with.

After the first session Sassy went straight out on her own in the garden which I could not get her to do. Still alot of work to do with her, eg leadwork and toilet training, otherwise responded well after her first session.

  • Jumping up at visitors or the dog jumps up at people on walks

Billy improved immediatley - his behaviour at home is much better. His response with visitors is much improved. Billy is enjoying his food and emptying food dishes - which he was not doing previously. Isla was very thorough and gave me confidence. Looking forward to training session outdoors when weather permits.

  • Pulling on the Lead
  • Sibling Rivalry - aggression or fighting between dogs in the same household

Very good advice was given to me by Isla. My dogs are behaving considerably well, only 1 day after the first visit. I am going to continue the programme as thoroughly as possible, although I am still anxious about the firework problem, I\\\'ve yet to try the techniques for that. I will be recommending Bark Busters to clients at the vets where I work.
