My first session with Janet was a great success. She helped me to understand why Rags was acting the way sh did. The session lasted 3 hours during which time she showed me how to help Rags understand that she did not need to protect me. How I should walk with her to prevent pulling on the lead and how to stop her being aggressive to other dogs and people. By the time I had a second session 2 weeks later I was much more confident in how I should handle my dog. We still have some way to go but I know whith Janet's expert help I will have the perfect dog.

After an introductory talk by Janet we applied some of the basic training techniques. Although Kelly wasn't quite sure what was happening she instantly began to obey and accept our requests and commands. And the first session using the training collar was a revelation. For the first time since we adopted Kelly (11 weeks ago) from a rescue centre I felt that I was in charge and that Kelly was not taking me for a walk! Looking forward to training Kelly. And for the sceptics, no not "BAH Humbug" but Bark Busters.

Overall a fantastic session. We could both see a difference in Thor straight away. Since then he has calmed down and listens to his basic commands again as he was beginninh to become cheeky. We understand there is still a lot to do but the exercises we were given to practise so far have been good to do and Thor is really learning. We are both looking forward to our next session.

The improvement that I have seen with the dogs is really good. The techniques that Janet has shown us are definitely working and are not harsh for the dogs. Janet is very approachable and I feel that she understands our needs which has shown in the improvements in the dogs behaviour. I know that I can ask her anything and she will not judge me and really cares for the dogs. Janet is very supportive and I believe that with her help and committment from ourselves we will be able to change/correct the behaviour of my dogs.
