What our clients say about Kim Lummis
Dog Obedience Trainer & Behavioural Therapist

Firstly, what a great person you have in Kim - an absolute pleasure to meet and because of her 3 1/2 hr training I have a different dog - entirely! That magic word "baaa" has sorted our Edward out in SO MANY ways. I am first at my front door when someone calls - NOT him. He now lies on the floor and not on the back of my chair, making him higher than me. He "pinches" objects and runs eg my eye glasses etc, now he drops them IMMEDIATELY after the "B" word. But the biggest difference I have made is changing his diet to mince, chicken wings, etc. He is a much happier dog, not chewing rugs, logs etc - this all down to Kim!
Thanks Kim, I'm actually enjoying my dog. Oh! and there's been no more fouling in his favourite room.

It is amazing how 4 hours intense training can completely alter the demeanor of a dominant dog. The method is simple and the result very rewarding and instant.
Consistency and patience will be the words that can turn our lovely dog into a very adapted dog.
Thank you Kim!

Amazed at how simple the technique is - but extremely effective. On one afternoon our Westie is behaving like a different dog! The trainer was friendly and clear and understood exactly how to tackle the problems we're experiencing. It's reassuring to know we have ongoing support when we need it on the phone and in person. Kim our trainer was brilliant; we thoroughly recommend Bark Busters. Thank you.

From the start of the visit from Kim, she put us both at ease, spend time understanding our own situation before starting work with us.
The session lasted nearly 4 hours and all times Kim worked hard with us to improve our current situation.
Feedback and homework set showed us how focused Kim was in dealing with our problem.
We look forward to working with Kim.

Hi Kim
Just wanted you to know that Kipling is a changed dog! He's so well-behaved now, thanks to your help.
Everyone in the household is now familiarised with the routine and commands. He's eating what we eat, and seems to be thoroughly enjoying it.
Really can't thank you enough. Please use this e-mail as a testimonial if appropriate.
With very grateful thanks.

Kim's help kept us focused on what we needed to do - clarifying the points we needed to learn & reminding us when we slipped - passive dominance is now part of our everyday language.

We are delighted with the progress Robbie has made so far. We still have some distance to travel, but we are very hopeful that he will continue to improve. The system is so simple once the dog has been diagnosed and the therapist was charming.

Kim is such a lovely lady who is very calm and explains everything so well. On our first session she spent over 3 hours with us and was very patient and gave us lots of tips. Bailey responded to her training well although we still have a way to go to stop him pulling on the lead. I am confident that with Kim's help, advice and support we are determined our lovely Golden Retriever pup will walk beautifully on the lead and no pulling!

Bailey is now walking well on the lead, and is well on the way to being able to come off lead, with his owner knowing that he will come straight back to her!

Very friendly and efficient. Kim spent just over 3 hours with Stan and I and gave a comprehensive assessment of Stan's behaviour. Not only were the techniques fully explained and demonstrated but the theory and effect on the dog was also fully explained. At the end of the first session you could see a change in Stan's behaviour for the better. We are not there yet but I feel we are heading in the right direction.

Kim's visit saw an immediate change in Molly's behaviour. She showed us how to spot the difference between passive and dominant behavious - which was quite a revelation! It's helped us to understand why Molly behaves in certain ways and how to correct it, which is a huge leap forward for us. Molly is a lovely dog, but being a rescue dog she does have a few "issues" and thanks to Kim we're well on the way to sorting them all out. Just the barking at the next door neighbour to overcome now - but we'll get there! Thanks Kim!
