  • Aggression to a dog or other animal or where the dog is aggressive to the owner or a stranger

We saw almost instant improvements in some aspects of Jazz's behaviour which we weren't expecting after just one session - other issues will take a little longer but we are doing our "homework".

Kim was fantastic and it's reassuring to know that she's on the other end of the phone.

We both really enjoyed the session and learned a lot about Jazz's behaviour even though we were all exhausted afterwards!

  • Recall or not coming when called
  • Puppy Management

Kim's approach is excellent. She explains the reasons behind the technique along with how to do it. Archie a Boxer was our first dog and headstrong. He now obeys the commands and is a pleasure to take on a walk. Kim has been happy to revisit when required to enforce the training technique. I would thoroughly recommend Kim and Bark Busters to any new dog owner.

C.H., Eastbourne, East Sussex

Lovely Boxer and great owner who from the outset has wanted to get it right! Archie has progressed well - through the cute puppy, testing adolescent and now into a super, well mannered young man!

  • Aggression to a dog or other animal or where the dog is aggressive to the owner or a stranger
  • Pulling on the Lead
  • Recall or not coming when called

Kim was lovely, so quiet and such a gentle approach, and was in no rush to leave, she was with us for 3 hours for the first visit, and by the end of her first visit had Rosie - my Boxer - walking nearly perfect on the lead, and also Kim showed me a few basic rules that Rosie seemed to learn straight away. I am feeling happier and was so happy with Kim's first visit, so pleased I rang Bark Busters.

J. L., Portslade, East Sussex

Rosie is doing well. A lovely ex rescue Boxer who had problems with pulling, jumping and aggression towards other dogs.

We still have a little way to go, but she is coming on in leaps and bounds (if you pardon the pun..). Her owner is determined to get her socialisation with other dogs sorted and I'm sure we will get Rosie to be much friendlier.

  • Jumping up at visitors or the dog jumps up at people on walks
  • Recall or not coming when called
  • Separation Anxiety

Daffy has made excellent progress in just a short period of time.

She is responding to 90% of our concerns and continuing to improve rapidly.

S. & A. J., Lancing, West Sussex

Daffy is a great Staffy who despite her owner's initial resolve, managed to climb up the pecking order. She is now on a natural diet (and loves it) and the only area which her owners are still working on is recall - but that is coming along nicely too.

28th February 2011

  • Aggression to a dog or other animal or where the dog is aggressive to the owner or a stranger
  • Barking at people, dogs, animals, birds or where the dog barks for attention or at the slightest noise

Kim was very thorough in explaining the technique. Some dog trainers and people who think they are make you feel inadequate but Kim explained everything so well.

Have recommended her to a couple of people and would like to say a big thanks for making it more of a pleasure to have a dog

  • Recall or not coming when called

The therapist was a lovely lady, she quickly assessed my dog and recognised the problems. She was very patient with me and answered all my questions. It was a pleasure to work with her.

L.T.'s dog is now a dog to be proud of (and I'm very proud of her owner!).

  • Recall or not coming when called

Kim was fantastic. She handled the situation brilliantly despite constant interruptions by my two daughters. We really felt a major difference in Frank after the session and have a good idea how to deal with him to make our lives easier and Frank behave better.

  • Barking at people, dogs, animals, birds or where the dog barks for attention or at the slightest noise
  • Pulling on the Lead
  • Recall or not coming when called

It was a lot to take in during a 4 hour session!

The dogs were very tired for the next 2 days, it must be all that excess brain use!

Bark Busters technique certainly works. Within 3 days they are walking to heel and recall is already much improved. Thank you Kim!

  • Aggression to a dog or other animal or where the dog is aggressive to the owner or a stranger
  • Jumping up at visitors or the dog jumps up at people on walks
  • Pulling on the Lead
  • Separation Anxiety

I contacted Kim as a last resort for Finn after trying multiple dog trainers/techniques that didn't work. He's an excitable little chap to say the least. Amongst his problems he is/was a jumper, a barker and he also has had separation anxiety and boredom issues...not anymore, from the first session with Kim I could see a positive change. We now have a dog that walks to heel, isn't scared/aggressive to other dogs and his anxiety issues are a working progress. Kim is brilliant, I wish I'd found her before all the other "trainers".

S.J., Brighton, East Sussex

Finn's owner had tried every possible training technique before we started working together last year. Finn was due to be put to sleep when his owner rescued him and so he is a very special dog.

A lovely dog with very committed owners, who is now able to be left at home on his own too.

  • Hyperactivity
  • Jumping up at visitors or the dog jumps up at people on walks

Kim was fantastic! Her energy is so calm and she instills great confidence in your ability to overcome the issues she is helping with. Koko was a different dog by the time Kim left and is continuing to improve still. I have every faith that by using the techniques kim has taught me, I will soon be the proud owner of an obedient, calm dog. Thank you Kim, you're brilliant!
