What our clients say about Phillip Gazzard
Dog Obedience Trainer & Behavioural Therapist
14th April 2008
Within the first visit we saw an improvement. I've learnt a hell of a lot about how my dogs think which has helped me see my dogs in a new light. My partner wasn't sure it was going to work, but he couldn't believe how effective some of the things we were taught are. We are both very impressed and will not hesitate in recommending Bark Busters.

Bonnie is a 2 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross rescue dog. She was rejected by her mother at 6 weeks old, and rescued from a broken home. Her rehabilitation has included introducing Bonnie to other dogs to socialise her and teach her to trust the leadership of her loving owners, without the need to aggress against other dogs. She is making good progress and is now well and truly on the path to full rehabilitation.

We have been very pleased with the sessions and results so far. Bark Busters have enabled us to also communicate with our dog without verbal instructions due to the owners deafness. I look forward to continuing sessions to develop our dog's obedience and well being. Thoroughly recommended.

Phillip's analysis of the problems we were facing with Archie proved entirely accurate. Within 24 hours there was a transformation in his behaviour, and we have complete confidence in the systems and techniques recommended.

Archie is a 3 year old male Norwich Terrier/rescue dog. Being unaware of Archie's past, his new owners had become concerned at his tendency to show aggression towards other dogs both on and off lead. Archie was also overly-boisterous and had an apparent obsessive compulsion to chasing children. We have also included recall, attentiveness and distance control training for Archie.

Bark Busters is worth every penny. I now have control of Meg instead of the other way around, and thanks to the natural feeding I have a happier, calmer and more relaxed dog. It's now a pleasure to walk Meg instead of a chore. All the strange looks I get from saying Bah is worth it. Thank you Phillip

Gave me confidence in myself to continue the training of Sassie - eg at home + walking to heel after just one session. Phillip listens and is sensitive to our circumstances plus he gives good advice which is well adapted to both the needs of my dog and myself. Thankyou

Sassie is a highly intelligent Border Collie who has a willful disposition, and prior to her Bark Busters training was ruling her owners life and presented food related aggression and behavioural issues including Coprophagia. Sassie has responded quickly to Phillip Gazzard's kind effective training techniques, and nutritional guidanceIn just three weeks she is now calm and healthy, walks beautifully on the lead, no longer eats excrement, and is devoted to pleasing her proud owner.

We had a brilliant session with Phillip. He clearly has an excellent understanding of dog psychology and taught us a lot about dogs in general, as well as specifically about Pokey (my dog) and 'his issues' - or should I say 'our issues'! Pokey was a changed dog when Phillip left and I was a changed owner. I'm looking forward to our next session and to continuing to see the wonderful improvements in Pokey.

Excerpt from Email Dated 6th February 2008 - Re: Pokey the 1.5year old Chihuahua. With kind permission from E. E.
Hi Phillip,
I wanted to thank you for all your help and advice on Saturday.
Since adopting your suggestions about being (and acting like) the pack leader combined with using the 'Bah' technique, the change in Pokey has been quite unbelievable. He barks about 80% less than he did and he is also much more obedient in general (the pack is obeying the leader!). He still has his moments, but he is improving daily (as am I)
My mother and I both found what you had to say about dogs and dog psychology extremely interesting and we feel like we've gained a tremendous amount of useful knowledge. We're looking forward to seeing you again on Thursday 28th. You'll notice the difference in Pokey (and hopefully us) immediately - if nothing else the wonderful silence when you knock on the door should speak volumes!
