Ms B. H., Wset Dulwich, London
Phillip Gazzard was fantastic! He was very helpful and patient in addressing our problems with Reg. After the first session we have noticed the difference in Reg, he has improved so much and he is enjoying his new diet. I would recommend Bark Busters to anyone with a dog! Thankyou!
Mr J & Mrs M. G, Wallington, Surrey
Reg is an incredibly handsome, pedigree English Bull Terrier with a nervous yet dominant personality. Prior to his Bark Busters training, Reg had been food aggressive and had a propensity to guard certain items such as his bedding, toys and even the family's dining area. He was barking excessively, jumping up on family members and friends, pulling excessively on the lead and didn't come back when called. Reg has responded brilliantly to the training regime which we have put in place, and whilst we still have some work scheduled to complete, already he is a much happier dog and his family are now enjoying the dog they had always hoped for. Well done to Reg and his newly established pack leaders.
Phillip explained everything clearly and it all made perfect sense! Although we were not having serious problems with our puppy, we just wanted to improve his training and such a personal service was perfect for us.
Mr D. & Mrs V. W, Clapham, London
Archie is a beautifully natured, 5 month old pedigree Hungarian Viszla. He has a soft and very biddable temperament and therefore required no major behavioural modifications. He was already settled functionally into the right pack hierarchy with his devoted owners, who enlisted the help of Bark Busters behavioural therapist Phillip Gazzard in the interests of doing everything right for Archie's well-being from the beginning. Like all puppies, Archie needed an education to accelerate his house training, and to teach him all the basics of general obedience such as lead walking to heel, and recall, attentiveness and distance control. Archie's owner is a horse trainer and therefore required that her puppy be well integrated into the daily routine of working at the stables with horses.
Blade has always been a quick eater, the natural diet has been more difficult than we thought it would be. However slow, picky eater Ella is yumming it down. When practising (our training exercises) we sometimes wish we could click our fingers and have Phil appear magically. LOL
Mr M. & Mrs L. W, New Addington, Surrey
Blade (M) and Ella (F) are two gorgeous Dobermans who had unwittingly taken over the leadership of their pack and were constantly jostling for the top dog position with fairly serious sibling rivalry issues. Having addressed the sibling rivalry, and separation anxiety which was partly diet related, we are now making headway with the lead walking and recall control. They are still a work in progress, but with the ongoing lifetime support of the Bark Busters Gold service these issues will be resolved thanks to the commitment and perseverance of their devoted owners.
We are very happy with the training, our dog is much better now than before the therapist came. He still needs work, but now with his training, I know that he will be a pet we can love. Bark Busters is the best spent money.
M. R, Morden, Surrey
Rocky is an exceptionally confident Rottweiler puppy, who prior to his Bark Busters training, had challenged his owners to the point of tears with considerations being made for rehoming or euthanasing him. Like many Rottweilers, Rocky was completely misunderstood, and was just desperate for some discipline and education. Underneath his macho exterior lies a lovely, loyal companion animal, who is desperate to please. Accordingly under the guidance of behavioural therapist Phillip Gazzard, Rocky has undergone a metamorphosis into a well behaved canine citizen. His devoted owners had tried everything and were at their wit's end, and are now celebrating the lovely nature that has been uncovered in Rocky. Well done! Saving dogs lives is what makes my job so truly enriching.
A very interesting and informative session. Looking forward to the next meeting and trying to carry out training and techniques suggested. Very good value.
Mrs J. McK, Enfield, Hertforshire
Jess is an adorable Working Cocker Spaniel who has just embarked on her first puppy management training session. She had a strong propensity to jump up and mouth which has now been resolved. Her ongoing training will include lead walking, recall, attentiveness and distance control.
Phil was absolutely fantastic! He took the time to listen and answer all our queries, whether big or small. Our puppy responded immediately to his training technique. I would highly recommend Phil to anyone wanting to have a well trained and happy dog!
Mr O. K, West Kensington, London
Lola is a 12 week old Yellow Labrador puppy with a sweet nature and excellent breeding. She was a blank canvas in terms of training with specific needs relating to house training, designated sleeping area, walking to heel, general obedience, food steeling and recall. Lola has responded brilliantly to her first training session and is looking forward to graduating with flying colours through her ongoing programme.
Phillip was extremely clear and concise about various issue. He addressed the concerns I had with regard to walking and also gave me some general tips about management with particular attention to diet. I was astonished to discover someone so committed to the animal; he really cares and actually wants to make the owner understand the dog's needs and communications- FANTASTIC, wish we had used Phillip from day 1, how much simpler.
Mrs P. L, Chiswick, London
Bonny is a 12 week old English Bull Terrier pup, blessed with a devoted and caring owner who wanted to ensure that Bonny received the best possible start in life with kind, appropriate training from the outset. Bonny is responding well to her training, and now wants nothing more than to please her pack leaders. Her walking has improved immensely, as has her distance control. Her training curriculum moving forward will include attentiveness and recall. Well done so far Bonny!
Phillip was amazing and you could notice the difference in our dog's behaviour within the first visit. The training programme is very easy to follow and implement in an everyday environment. I would recommend Bark Busters to anyone who needs comprehensive training. Thanks a million.
Miss J. W, Victoria, London
Chanel is a wonderfully natured, timid Yorkshire Terrier cross Chihuahua. Prior to her Bark Busters training, she had a phobia of dogs which related to a traumatic encounter with an overly exuberant Labrador, which resulted in her being terrified of all large breed dogs. She was also suffering separation anxiety which was causing her to chew and toilet indoors, and mistaking her role in the pack as leader which presented with excessive barking. After two training sessions, Chanel is a changed dog. She is much calmer, no longer barks or chews, and is making strides towards overcoming her phobia of other dogs. Chanel is a much happier dog, thanks to the commitment of her devoted owners.
