What our clients say about Tina Edwards
Dog Obedience Trainer & Behavioural Therapist
I was unsure if this was going to work, as my two adult dogs were trying to kill each other after having puppies. Well, I would recommend Bark Busters to everyone in need of help with their dogs. Within 3 days the dogs no longer wear muzzles in the house, they are sleeping together again, the home is much calmer place and happy. The training will continue, more so for us and understanding how to manage the dogs. I'm so pleased and thankful for your help.

A Schnauzer x and a Westie x rescue they had an unintended mating. During the pregnacy Bubbles became very protective and began to grumble at Barney and this got increasingly worse after the pups were born and continued after they were homed. One pup has been kept. The mum had (understandibly) been given a lot of attention during her prenancy and after whelping and as a result had decided that she should control poor "dad" of the litter who was an easy going boy, but had to retaliate to protect himself. Some very nasty fights had happened and the dogs had to be kept completely separate, causing stress, anxiety and arguments within the household and the fear that "mum" would have to be rehomed. Now all is peaceful after showing their owners how to give the dogs the safety of leadership, they can all relax.
I was amazed at how quickly Jasper responded to the training and how much he enjoyed it! It was quite an eye opener when Tina pointed out all the things I had been doing that had actually put Jasper in control of me! I enjoyed the training and it was small changes by me that made all the difference. I am very pleased with how quickly the training has made such dramatic changes. It turns out I was much more difficult to train than the dog!!

Japser is a beautiful young lurcher rescue and had little or no socialisation with humans before his owner fell in love with him. She had made huge progress before we met but had got "stuck" in a few areas. Instead of responding to his every whim which was creating anxiety and controlling behaviours in him, we turned things around and now his owner is in charge of the house/visitors they are both very much happier.
Tina was very helpful and patient with my pup. It has only been a few days since her visit and have started seeing results.
Mrs S L C, Five Oak Green, Kent
A lovely young GSD x BC getting into puppy mischief and trying to run the house already! I confident dog, he will need time and consistent training to get him to be a well mannered dog.
I was happy with the techniques used and Casey is a lot calmer and rests much better. She works well at the front door/visitors, no longer rushing. She is a lot calmer around the baby. I have changed her diet for the better and she no longer frets when I go out. I would recommend Bark Busters if you want to get a much better and happier dog.
Mrs C R, Throwley, Kent
A lovely white GSD who believed she had to organise the whole household and all humans in it! She was therefore rather anxious if her prime carer left and was paying too much attention to the young toddler. We changed the dynamics by doing simple things showing her how to behave and where to be when the toddler was active, with the owners working in short sessions everyday to show her true consistent leadership.
My dog's problems were very difficult to deal with, however the advice and help I received was brilliant. It did take a long-ish time to get a grip on. It definitely is a hard problem to tackle(Separation Anxiety) and is very important to go by all the trainers recommendations. There is no short-cut and is hard work, but for your pet's well-being is most worth it. Just as important, Tina was happy to liaise with my neighbours too. I'm very happy with the result - thank you Tina.
Mr and Mrs J Caseley, Strood, Kent
Two little Yorkshire terriers, they suffered the full range of problems resulting from Separation Anxiety; toileting, barking, scratching at doors at night when their owner was on night shift. The neighbours were very distressed and upset with the lack of sleep causing a huge amount of stress. We worked on general leadership issues to give the dogs security and safety and tried various different regimes until we found the right combination. Their owner was diligent in following all the training methods and despite the difficulties, was successful in getting happy relaxed dogs and much happier neighbours!
We didn't realise that some simple techniques would make such a difference.
Mrs J W, Tonbridge, Kent
A cute Jack Russel dog from rescue, he was getting too protective of his owners when out on the lead. Had become difficult to control when he saw other dogs, "screaming" and choking in an attempt to get to them. I assessed why he was behaving like that and then worked in the house to get simple controls in place and then worked outside on lead to show him how he should behave with other dogs. He's well on the way to being a great little companion.
After 2 visits from Tina we are making significant progress with all of Samson's many problem areas. I feel Tina has educated me about dogs. I am a little dyspraxic so some things are quite difficult, but Tina was very patient with me and after the second visit my confidence has started to grow with Samson. Tina has a very kind no-nonsense way about her which I can relate to. I am now spending more time with my dogs and although things are not perfect they are, for me, 100% better.

Samson, a young labrador, is a strong dog and was being very wilful with his owners. I helped them to understand that he needed rules and boundaries, rather than unconditional love and that the bond between them would grow once he understood and they could see the true dog coming out.
Really pleased with Bark Busters - lots of tips, a lovely lady! Thank you!
Mrs KG, Tatsfield, Kent
A gorgeous young female Boxer pup who is VERY confident! She needs to understand that her safety lies with her owner and that she must listen and respond to the owner's decisions and not make her own! She may be quite a challenge as she grows up, but with my support her owner will have a lovely "listening" Boxer in adulthood.
So far so good. Got a way to go but confident we should get there based on what I have learnt so far.
Mrs Y R, Orpington, Kent
A second Spitz rescued to be a companion to a female, started to show bossy aggression towards her, especially around food. I showed the owner how important it was to proved calm, strong leadership and that both dogs should be treated in the same way. I showed how to get both dogs focused on the owner, to show the new boy that he shouldn't be making any decisions, and to show the little female that she would be protected from any bullying. We will continue on the same basis to assess progress before we move on to working on recall.
Really pleased with how well Stan is doing. Such simple techiques but very effective. Results have been almost immediate. Looking foward to continued success with him.
Mr and Mrs T & P S, Dover, Kent
Stan is a rescue Staffy and a gentle laid back boy. However he had started to show aggression to other dogs when on lead and being very strong he had become a problem to walk. He responded very quickly on the first session and on my recent return, he was walking without pulling and unless suddenly spooked by another dog, was walking past and ignoring them. It has not yet been a month and we are now working on long lead work, keeping his focus on his owners, and stopping him from rushing after various distractions. He is very keen to please and now he understands what is wanted tries hard to please his owners.
