"I can't believe the difference in my dogs behaviour. I honestly didn't think I would be able to train him but with the help and advice I received he is brilliant now. I think he's enjoyed the training as much as I have. Thanks."

Steve Smithson

Dog Training & Behavioural Therapist for Lancaster & South Cumbria

Steve Smithson, Dog Obedience Trainer & Behavioural Therapist for Lancaster & South Cumbria

I'm your local therapist and I live with my wife Roz and our Border Collie, Ellie. Ellie is the reason I do the job I do. We'd never come across a dog like her after many Border Collies before her. Yes, every dog is different but she gave us a rude awakening.

In fact she gave us and our neighbours a very rude awakening at around 5am every morning! It was even worse when we found out our new neighbour had moved to escape a barking dog next door! As she got older, her behaviour deteriorated more and we read every dog behaviour book under the sun but nothing in those books applied to Ellie.

It was at this time I came across Bark Busters and their seeming ability to deal with anything. I was so impressed with their kind and easy to apply methods that I joined them and Ellie is now a different dog.

What's great about our methods is that they are not a 'one size fits all' system. Every dog is different and its environment and personality have to be taken into account which is what makes the job so interesting.

Years on and I've dealt with almost anything you can imagine from dogs that won't get in to cars to dogs that want to eat me!

Whatever your problem, I can help. Wouldn't it be great if your dog became a different dog too?

Before Steve came to our house I just couldn't see how he could help us train our dogs. Well he was fantastic. He didn't judge us and he talked in "our language". We saw results immediately and we are looking forward to having healthy, happy and trained dogs.

Therapist was polite and used excellent techniques to get the dogs attention. Pacha responded well to therapist and did what was asked. Overall I was very happy with the visit and techniques used.
