"Liz was very patient, very re-assuring and very clear and precise and even after just one session the difference in Jasper is very apparent. I can not speak highly enough of Liz and the Barkbusters methods."

SPCA Best of the Best 200822nd January 2008

Bark Busters, the world’s largest, most trusted dog training company, and its global network of dog behavioural therapists are recognised for excellence in dog behaviour therapy and training services.

Fire-fighting Fireworks20th October 2007

Bark Busters ask all dog owners to take great care of their pets around Bonfire Night and Halloween. Traditionally a time of celebration and fun, it can be quite a different story for our pets. Many dogs are literally sent in to a frenzy of terror when fireworks explode and if not properly supervised may put themselves or others in danger.

Terrible Terrier Transformed18th September 2007

When Bee Raven, of Newton Abbott, agreed to re-home Grif, an eighteen-month old Irish Terrier cross Jack Russell, she knew that she would be taking on a handful. The rescue centre ‘Animals in Distress’ in Ipplepen, warned Bee about his anti-social habits such as boisterousness, barking, escapology and aggression towards other dogs. Bee also knew that she was to be Grif’s fourth owner in his short life, yes fourth in eighteen months! The reality of Grif’s behaviour was much worse than even Bee had imagined and it is only thanks to Sandra Hughes at Bark Busters that Grif has managed to hang on to this owner!

Dastardly Dogs to Perfect Pooches18th September 2007

Defeated dog owner Jane Kenway of Platt, near Seven Oaks, contacted Bark Busters in despair. Her beautiful 5 year old, Great Dane cross German Shepherd was out of control and showing aggression and on top of this her husband’s Springer Spaniel made her a prisoner in her own home.

Chomping Charlie brought to heel5th July 2007

When Marge Bird of Moulescomb Brighton, took charge of her beautiful black cross breed pup, Charlie, 3 years ago, she was blissfully unaware of the traumas that were to follow.

From Great Pain to Great Dane in one easy lesson20th June 2007

Nicola Lee, of Radcliffe-on Trent (Borough of Rushcliffe) has finally, after two years of hell, tamed her Great Dane, Megan. The oversized and beloved pet trashed her home, stole food, barked her way around the country and dragged her helpless owner across roads and through fields at her whim.

Husky Hound to Perfect Pooch19th June 2007

When Stevie Cooke and partner, Tony Britton, of Melksham, took charge of their 6 week old Husky/ German Shepherd cross pup, Myshka, they were expecting to have to put some training in place; what they weren’t expecting was a dog that ruled the roost and had them well and truly under the paw to the extent that they felt like prisoners in their own home.

Big Job for Canine Therapist15th May 2007

Back in October 2004 when Sam and Dave Fairman of Willesborough, Kent became the proud owners of 4 month old Rodney, an American Cocker Spaniel, they had no idea what a mess he was about to make of their lives.

Rodney, joined the family straight from the breeder where he had been in kennels since he was born and it was his lack of house-training that led to problem.

Pets reduced couple to being prisoners in their own home5th February 2007

Steve Burgess and Rhiannon McHugh of Hangleton, Hove were prepared to face financial ruin and mental breakdown rather than give up their beloved pets who they were unable to leave at any time. Their two dogs, Dillon and Ziggy, cost them thousands of pounds and drove Rhiannon to the very brink of a nervous breakdown.

Bruising Bull Terrier brought to heel1st February 2007

When Francis and Ria O’Brian of South Normanton adopted their Staffie cross from a local rescue centre they weren’t expecting an angel, but neither were they expecting a hyperactive devil who greeted guests so effusively that they were left battered and bruised. After over two years of hell, a call to ‘Bark Busters’ brought peace to their household.
