Tina Edwards dealt with: Barking at people, dogs, animals, birds or where the dog barks for attention or at the slightest noise Recall or not coming when called

Training went very well, all advice given was clear and straightforward. It gave us a good basis to work towards our goals.

Trainer note from Tina:

Anxious, nervous but sweet natured GSD who was exhibiting reactivity to people and unknown dogs.  She is still quite young and her owners are now well on the way to helping her to change her behaviour so that she can focus on them and not be worried about others.

So helpful! We had quite a few problems in both our dogs we just didn't know how to handle, and Tina was very effective; she explained why they were doing this problem behaviour, and why a certain training method was being used. While the real test is implementing the training over the following weeks, we noticed improvements in their behaviour pretty quickly; our dogs understood. Very pleased and hopeful about the future.

Trainer note from Tina:

Two lovely young dogs who had misunderstood the messages they were getting.  Their owners were able to see them figure out and understand what was wanted  with simple, kind, calm techniques and were able to recreate them with coaching.  Can't wait to hear how they get on with their homework!

Tina was wonderful, she took time to explain everything clearly, walked us through all the different training techniques in detail, she explained everything in an easy to understand way and we saw a big improvement in the first 3 hours with the dogs. Its great having a technique to help with my boys fearful aggression around other dogs and to be able to deal with the situation in a productive way.

Trainer note from Tina:

This boy is a stunning dog, who was so willing to learn and respond.  He is now being shown and guided into how he should greet unknown dog in a polite way.  Due to his unknown early life as a stray he had become defensive and protective of his new lovely owners.  His companion dog, a younger female is much more confident, but has some issues too that need refinement!  Fabulous dogs, with huge potential; I have high expectations for both dogs and owners and can't wait to see their progress.

Tina answered all our queries and more. We couldn't quite believe how effective her training was. Frank did exactly what Tina wanted him to do. We all now need to practise the different techniques. Tina was a font of knowledge. We all learnt so much and can highly recommend her services.

Trainer note from Tina:

Frank is a very intelligent young puppy, so when I coached his family into copying the unique Bark Buster techniques, they were able to get the same results as I did!  I left them with homework and lots of games that can teach Frank how to behave in real life situations and I can't wait to see his progress myself.  (I dearly wanted to steal him!!)

I thoroughly enjoyed my session with Tina today.. It was insightful and really useful... I can see a way forward now with training, which I hadn’t before. I’m So glad I found her... Roxy and I will now begin some more structured training and look forward to seeing Tina again soon to see how we’re getting on... Thank you Tina

Trainer note from Tina:

Such a gorgeous young mastiff just needing some great leadership and quiet calm guidance.  I can't wait to do some more work with her to teach her more focus once the basics are in place.

Tina Edwards dealt with: Aggression to a dog or other animal or where the dog is aggressive to the owner or a stranger Barking at people, dogs, animals, birds or where the dog barks for attention or at the slightest noise Pulling on the Lead

Tina was very clear and patient when explaining the training techniques we needed to use to prevent our dog from continuing to act in an aggressive manner to other dogs. There were 3 of us to explain and demonstrate to and she spent time with each of us. We were encouraged during the session when we saw that our dog immediately responded well to the techniques Tina used which we then each followed. We have been using the same training techniques for just over a week now and have seen a big improvement already. We have tried various types of training before to resolve his aggression but non have been effective previously. We are very thankful that Tina has given us the tools to work with to train him out of his behaviour so we can enjoy taking him out for walks again and be sociable with others dogs.

Trainer note from Tina:

A super quick bright dog had been bitten to another dog some time ago and progressively became more anxious and defensive when seeing other dogs.  The family were keen to help him so that he would relax and walk past other dogs and be safe to let off lead and not rush barking at dogs he didn't know.  He was a star and his family worked well with the techniques I demonstrated and he began to improve very quickly on the day.  Now, with such committed owners, there's no reason why they can't succeed.

The training was fantastic we saw a difference in the dogs straight away. Lots of constructive information, looking forward to positive ongoing results

Trainer note from Tina:

Two very gorgeous but hyper Staffies!  They greeted me by jumping up in a over friendly way and took a while to calm down.  Rough play with each other and mugging every visitor was an issue!  They both responded really well and were pretty tired after their brain work.  I'll be going back to work on loose lead walking and recall.

Just wanted to say that things are absolutely great , Enya has responded really really well to training and things have moved really fast and she is already off lead again with no signs of aggression towards other dogs

Trainer note from Tina:

Enya had been attacked by another dog in an upprovoked attack and has since become very defensive and protective over her ball when out on walks, worse when on lead if a dog came up to her and she was anxious.  This resulted in her lunging and trying to drive dogs away.  Prior to this she had been happy to interact and play with other dogs socially.  We started with games to show her that her owners could make decisions and keep her safe and after less than 8 weeks, she has made excellent progress.

Tina Edwards dealt with: Barking at people, dogs, animals, birds or where the dog barks for attention or at the slightest noise Hyperactivity Jumping up at visitors or the dog jumps up at people on walks Pulling on the Lead Recall or not coming when called Sibling Rivalry - aggression or fighting between dogs in the same household Separation Anxiety

Tina came to help me with my two German Shepherds. Both girls, they had become unruly and over excited, Barking at other dogs and generally not listening. Tina was kind, calm and informative. Pointing out the obvious mistakes I was Making. Giving me instructions and exercises to practice with my girls. I have seen a difference within a week. As advised I have changed their diet and the difference is really noticeable. I really feel that Tina has put as back on track, towards two beautifully behaved dogs.

Trainer note from Tina:

LIfe was becoming annoying and difficult for the owner of these two wayward girls!  Lovely natures, but had decided that their job was to guard the home, their owner, ALL the time!  So lunging and barking was a real issue and with two large dog a worry for their owner.  They responded wonderfully!  GSD's love to have rules and boundaries that they understand and are consistent and they relaxed and began to listen.  Food does make a big difference, too many carbs in today's processed dog foods just create excess energy and exacerbate anxieties.
