What our Clients are saying about us
We have been having problems with Ellie involving mainly nervous barking at strangers or anyone that was out of context or looked a little strange, which was upsetting and scary for the recipient. This came out of the blue at around one year of age - she had been well socialised as a puppy and we could think of nothing that had caused her sudden lack of confidence. Tina is clearly a natural with dogs and Ellie was comfortable with her from the start and by the time she left was positively affectionate towards her. Tina was very thorough in explaining the reasons Ellie was feeling the way she was and teaching me how to help her. She has already improved immensely and is much more calm and happy around strangers. It is a work in progress, but when you have seen clear results on day one, it gives you the incentive to carry on and I am positive Ellie will benefit more and more each day.T.C., Riverhead, Kent20th February 2018
We are now a week and a half into following our bark busters training programme, we are absolutely thrilled with the progress Max is making and the confidence we are feeling now. Tina explained things so well and helped boost our confidence with new strategies. We look forward to working with Tina again.H.P., Sittingbourne, Kent20th September 2017
Tina made both Chester and myself feel very relaxed and comfortable during the time that she spent with us. The techniques that Tina taught me to use with Chester have given us instant results - taking Chester out on his road walks is now a lot more pleasurable and I am feeling a lot more confident. The magic word for keeping Chester off the couch is also working brilliantly and I am looking forward to my next meeting with Tina.L.F., Maidstone, Kent25th February 2017
Tina was extremely professional and helpful, offering all sorts of advice from diet through to attempting to solve Cookie's behavioural difficulties. My husband and I were both impressed with Tina's knowledge and approach and Cookie took to her immediately. We are working through the exercises Tina suggested as the groundwork towards Cookie's aggression with other dogs. Although we have rated our experience, we are at the very beginning of the process and are working towards our target.K.D., Crowborough, East Sussex1st February 2016
I am so impressed with how Tina started working the minute she met Bailey. I felt I had let Bailey down as he was very bouncy and had chewed most furniture, I no longer walked him as had no control and he didnt like leaving the house. This is not a joke or an insider review, this is genuine that by the time Tina left I had been trained enough to enjoy my dog, he is now very much part of the family, the chewing has stopped along with the toileting indoors. Bailey general health and sheer contentment has increased to such extent that I can not recommend BarkBusters highly enough.J.P., Maidstone, Kent3rd January 2016

Tina was fantastic and I could not believe the response from Leo. Everything was explained really well and I was able to see Tina in action so could understand how I should use my body language and voice. We are working on the lessons everyday and are seeing results in some areas, but think that it will take several weeks or months for Leo to learn not to be distracted and to look to me for responses. Thank you so much Tina for all your help and I will contact you when I feel we are at the stage to go for a walk and to get in the car.
Leo is a young, but large breed dog who will take time to mature. He is a cuddly boy, but too enthusiastic in his wish to greet other dogs and people, and because of his size he can worry other owners. He certainly only want to greet and play but needs to learn impulse control and look to his owners for decisions. He is now on the way and I can't wait to see his progress for myself.

It was on my to do list to email you !
Omg ... we haven’t looked back since you came and ‘sorted’ Major for us ! He’s got better and better and now it’s other dogs behaving badly and not him !!!
We can all take him out separately and there is no anxiety.. all I can say is thank you so very much
Just over a month since I first saw Major, a large strong GSD, who was trying to be too much of a guard dog! His humans learned to "speak dog" and started to relax and let them make decisions. Consistent daily work has given this family a dog that they can now truly enjoy.

Tina was very thorough and supportive to both of us and of course our puppy - who responded well. She managed our expectations, didnt tell us off and was full of innovative ideas. Have been doing our homework and already see a calmer less anxious doggy.
This pups owners were doing nothing wrong, it just didn't suit the personality of their little dog! He did get very tired towards the end of our teaching him his new games, and loved evrey minute.

We were amazed at how well Darwin responded to the training Tina taught us. Tina explained everything to us,explaining why Darwin is behaving the way he is. Still have a lot of work to stop him from barking when we go out but we're sure with Tina's help we can get there. We're putting Darwin on a raw food diet as advised so hopefully that will calm him down a bit. Thanks again
Darwin had been barking and howling when his owners went out, this upset the neighbours naturally, but his owners had no idea that it was happening until matters became rather fraught. Darwin was a star pupil, his owners are committed to helping him overcome his separation anxiety so I'm sure they will follow the specific programme of games we put in place.

Brilliant. Very informative, very understanding of my pocket rocket yorkie. Good advice about all aspects including food and a more holistic way of supporting some of her needs. Tina was not afraid to be gently firm with me which helped install the basics in me and thus help me with my very determined Milly.
Milly, well on my arrival she launched from about 4 mtrs away what looked like a full on attack at me! Full speed and landed half way up my chest! Luckily, once we started work, she showed us just what a delightful little girl she is! I fell in love with her and could have sneaked her in my bag to take her home! Her owners now know how to speak dog and she is relieved not to have to make decisions about visitors. Future visits will help with lead work and focus on her owner.

After meeting Tina .. listening to all her knowledge and expertise we were so very relieved to hear and see how she could help us with Major.
The training session with her was amazing, we were all anxious but she made us feel much more confident in such a short time. She allowed us to realise that with work and commitment we could enjoy Major to the full extent and he in turn could lose his anxiety.
We feel so happy and have already seen progress!
Major's owners learned to "speak dog"! Once he understood when they wanted him to stop certain behaviours, like unnecessary barking he was happy to respond. The first session was the first step in the process of teaching him that he can walk calmly on a loose lead and ignore other dogs. He has been VERY reactive to dogs and has got out of harness and muzzle and was VERY hard to control on lead. We used a gently head collar to give his owners confidence that they could control him and we had a fantastic session. Major is an absolute sweetie and will, with consistent work become the dog they had hoped he would be.

It was a real pleasure to meet Tina yesterday. She has already given me more confidence and incentive to go forward with a positive outlook with Angus - he is already responding well to 'BAH' and recall both indoors and outdoors.
We are determined to switch to the raw food, and am busy researching what I feel will work best for us and our lifestyle. There is a wealth of information in the pack that Tina left for us - thank you!
We are looking forward to seeing Tina again to help Angus with his reactivity towards other dogs.
Angus, a re-homed dog, is very anxious about other dogs and occasionally people. His anxiety was being made worse due to too many carbs/cereals in diet, so that will help his reactions. We worked on basics in the house and garden, teaching him to stop barking, and to stay in his bed until invited to greet visitors and to keep calm when someone rang the bell! All a great start to his future session working at his reactive behaviour to dogs.

We have been so impressed with this training system. Tina did a great job of being concise and helpful and very much dwelt on the specific issues we were having. We saw improvements on the day and I’ve continued to see more - this really seems to be getting through to her and we have a calmer dog as a result. We’re only a week in so there’s a little way to go still, but I’m feeling positive that we’ll be able to effect the result we want and be able to enjoy a lifetime of good behaviour from our lovely Mabel.
Mabel is a clever teenager! She thought she knew how to be in charge and make her own decisions, however, she enjoyed the new games we taught her and only wanted to please and get lots of fuss and praise. She is going to be a really lovely family dog.

We have a male patterdale cross, who has been showing aggression to family members. Tina explained to us why this was happening, talked through and then showed us training methods for solving the problems we have been having.
The whole experience was very positive .
A great session although this dog had to have breaks during our training due to becoming overexcited and overstimulated. After 10 mins or so he was calm enough to try a different game and we worked on preventing his Adrenalin from increasing. His food will be changed as it was full of carbs and cereals which made his natural excitability worse. This will help his concentration and he was a quick learner.

I was not expecting great things but to my surprise Dylan has started to change his bad ways for the better. He is learning to be the kind of dog we want him to be. It's work in progress and he is doing it well.
Dylan speaks "dog" so now that his owners are learning how to communicate with him in an effective way, he understands more quickly and is happy to respond. Early days, yes, but on the right track.
