Tina helped us to understand a dog's nature more than we did, and taught us how to communicate commands more effectively. She recognised that Blarney was very nervous and was confused about her place in the 'Pack'. We look forward to the outside leash training as it was much too hot to start it on that day.
Yes, our English summer was in full swing and roasting so no leadwork which we will do next time. I'm looking forward to seeing them all again soon. I adapted our training to ensure that Blarney was relaxed and happy to participate and will gain confidence from the daily work.

Tina was a excellent trainer who explained everything to us thoroughly and in a way we could understand. We noticed a change in Margo's behaviour straight away by using the simple and easy techniques.
A little too much barking from this little girl and pulling on lead. It was a little too hot that day to do leadwork, so that's a definite for our next session. She responded really well to our natural, calm methods and is continuing to keep the new behaviour with fun training sessions.

I have only had one training session with Tina so far. I explained all the areas I want to work on with my dogs and she explained how the training works. She explained things clearly and gave demonstrations. I have some exercises to work on for a couple of weeks, 6 days in I have already seen improvement in the dogs' behaviour, barking has reduced a lot they seem generally calmer and a lot less noise reactive. I did email her as well a few days later to clarify a point about one of the exercises and she got back to me promptly explaining the steps clearly.I look forward to my next session.
Three very nice dogs with different personalities and each with different issues that their lovely owner would like to fix. Their owner runs a business from home, so it's important to her that her dogs are well behaved! We've started on some basics to help all three see their owner as the decision maker, not each other and will then tackle the individual areas one by one. I'm looking forward to the update after two weeks so we can discuss the next steps!

It was amazing, we didn't know we had been doing everything completely wrong, we learnt such a lot, and so did Billion, he behaved so well instinctively with Tina, who we all thought was so nice, calm, and knowledgeable.
It wasn't that they were doing things "wrong"; with a dog of a different personality I'm sure everything would have been fine, but a clever boy like Billion was taking full advantage of them all! We got all the basics in place including teaching him how to walk on a loose lead, our next steps will be to teach him how to approach other dogs without rushing and barking at them!

We have had two visits from Tina now and must say we are over the moon with Ringo's progress. We still have a long way to go but feel confident we can get there with Tina's help. Always friendly and easily contacted and Ringo has responded so well. We are so pleased and can't wait to carry on with it. We finally see a light! We have struggled for 2 years with a gorgeous French bulldog with a bad attitude! Thank you Tina! :)
The only reason Ringo has made such good progress is that his owners are totally committed to putting in the work that he so desperately needs! He has a strong "bulldog" personality and was ignoring his owners, charging and biting at visitor's feet and trying to attack any dog he saw! After the first visit when I showed and coached his owners with some basics, they started work! They changed his food which was making his natural behaviour worse with all the cereals, carbs and sugars which helped him to concentrate. Yesterdays session was about teaching him to walk on lead without pulling and to focus on his owners which he started to do very quickly. They will update me in a few weeks time when we will begin to tackle his dog aggression from a much better base!

Meeting Tina on Sunday was a answer to our prayers. She had brought our first meeting forward due to our growing concerns of Archie's negative behaviour. Archie responded well to Tina which showed us what a lovely dog he will become through improved training. Tina showed us how to manage Archie's behaviour using her techniques of passive leadership. She has given us the confidence to work through a training programme with Archie. It is also good to know that she is only a phone call away should we need to contact her!
Now what can I say about that Archie? He greeted me manically, friendly but jumping up and was very demanding for attention. He thought he was in charge of the house and as a result was stealing, guarding items and food and sadly was biting when his owners tried to retrieve items. I did a little work myself with him to help him to understand what was required behaviour and he got loads of praise. I then passed over the techniques to his owners who although a little unsure, started to get the results themselves! By the end of the session he was willingly giving up all his old ways. A great start for the rest of his life is now in progress!

We have been taking the dogs out for short training walks, door control & have changed their diet to raw food as advised. Cassie our older dog is very good at listening to commands, door work etc., but is very anxious & pulls on lead work. She has not been walked by my husband as she suffers from separation anxiety from him. This has gradually improved over time but she still requires extra time to get her to walk to heel. Poppy is much better at walking to heal now but she needs extra work & time to reinforce commands. Tina to let us have another date for follow up visit.
Great to hear that good progress is being made on the foundation exercises, so it is now time to follow up and move the work forward.

Tina was amazing on her first introduction to the two terrors. She had a clear understanding of our own and the dogs' needs.
Firstly the dietary advice was brilliant, and we have been following everything we were told. Even down to the treats and such. We have seen such an improvement now in health and wellbeing.
Basic skills such as Door control were pretty much solved in the first meeting,as was who owns the sofa!
Instant results are amazing and have stuck.
It takes a lot of time and dedication, but with Tina backing us up we hope to show off tWo perfect pups on her next visit!
Two teenage brother Shih Tzu's who were chewing furniture, barking too much getting over excited to meet other dogs and had a little Separation Anxiety to add to the list! They were very cute though and responded immediately to their owners new communications! They had learned to "speak dog"!! We had a lovely afternoon showing and guiding them into their new role as happy relaxed members of the family.

1st August 2016Tina Edwards dealt with:
As Tina so rightly said, dogs need training, but owners need more. We were at our wits end with our 5 month old golden cocker bitch. She was ticking all the boxes on the Barkbuster 'help me!' website.
At first, Tina talked to us. She listened. That was the start of our training and our hope. Then she met our Spawn of Satan, AKA Saffy. Within seconds, we saw this dog, that looked much like ours, become calm, well behaved and responding to commands. Our jaws dropped when we saw how quickly Saffy was learning. Tina gave us a foundation to work from. But more importantly, she gave us hope and a dog we could envision being the loving family pet we desperately wanted. Every day is a step forward, but Tina is just on the end of the phone if we fall off the wagon! So happy. Thank you Tina!
Saffy was safely in the utility room when I arrived and I expected to meet a Tasmanian Devil from all the things she had been getting up to! Stealing, guarding items, growling at her lovely owners when they tried to retrieve items, barking, jumping up at everybody she met. So after getting the history, explaining how we were going to work and why, we started by letting her out under control. We followed with lots of "games" that gave leadership to her owners and used her own communication methods, mainly body language and voice. She very quickly understood and was happy to give up her role as "monster", showing the real dog that was in there waiting to be encouraged out. I can't wait to see her again.

Tina is a god send. Our little boy was 10 weeks old when she came and saw us. She has helped us with puppy management and that in turn has helped us make sure Sargent is going to turn into a lovely natured lad. We would highly recommend her to all of our friends. Thank you Tina x
A gorgeous young Staffy boy, fabulous nature and learning fast to respond to his owners. Training a pup is fun and very rewarding for everyone.
