Bark Busters privacy policy explains how we collect and use any data about you when you use our website, call our telephone numbers, or purchase a service from us. By using our website, calling our telephone numbers, or purchasing a service, you agree to the terms of use of our website and our privacy policy.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. You are giving us permission to collect information for the purpose of providing our service. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully and in line with current data protection legislation.

We collect information about you for two reasons. Firstly, to arrange for your local dog trainer and behaviour therapist, or their booking agent, to contact you to discuss your needs and secondly to provide you with the best possible service.

We will only contact you for the purpose of delivering the service. We will not subscribe you to our newsletter unless you have given us your explicit consent. When subscribing to our newsletter, we use a double opt-in method where you are required to activate a verification link sent to you via email. We take the privacy of your information extremely seriously and we do not sell your data to any third parties. We do not store credit card details.

Your trainer - to provide information to you about our products and service, payment of the service, appointment confirmations, availability of appointments, cancellation of appointments.

Updates - We may use your information to send you updated details of training instructions, confirmation of appointments, appointment reminders, appointment cancellations, disputes, or complaints notifications. This can be in the form of email, text message and telephone calls.

Franchise enquiries - We may use your information to send you details of our franchise and how our business operates. We may use a carefully selected third party to monitor and service our franchise enquiries, who will have access to your data.

Where we store your information.

Your personal data that we hold is stored on internal servers or cloud-based servers in the UK. Your information may also be held on your Bark Busters trainer's UK based computer and/or mobile device and/or cloud storage for the purpose of communicating with you and delivering the service to you.

If you sign up to our newsletter, your information is stored on an internal UK based server or cloud-based server or computer within the UK.

How long do we keep your data?

If you have enquired about our services but have not gone on to purchase our service your information will be held for six months in case you change your mind. After 6 months any identifiable data will be deleted/removed.

If you have purchased our service, we will hold your information for the required period to fulfil our contractual obligations in delivering the service and as required by UK legislation, such as tax records.

None Support Guaranteed Services: Any identifiable data will be deleted/removed 7 years after your first lesson date.

One Year Support Guarantee: Any identifiable data will be deleted/removed 7 years after your first lesson date.

Lifetime Support Guarantee: Any identifiable data will be deleted/removed 18 years after your first lesson date. This is because your data will be required for a long period of time to fulfil our contractual obligations of the support guarantee.

Franchise Enquiries: Any identifiable data will be deleted/removed 2 years after we receive your information.

Access to information and correction of your information.

You have the right to request information that we hold about you. You also have the right to correct any data we hold about you. If you would like a copy of the personal information we hold about you, this can be requested by writing to the address below.

Security of your information.

We are committed to protect your data. Therefore, we have safeguards in place to prevent unauthorised access and disclosure of your data.
