Met with Alex and we went through several exercises together with my Golden Retriever puppy, Penny. She responded well and I'll continue to practice with her until our next visit from Alex. Alex explained things clearly before then going through the exercises to show me how it's done, before I then had a go myself. The initial lesson was very hands on which worked perfectly and I'm looking forward to seeing Alex again so we can continue training Penny. Alex is clearly knowledgable and I've got full confidence in his abilities to train Penny with me. The exercises we did most definitely instilled more confidence in me too.

I love working with puppies. Partly because I can watch them grow up to be well behaved dogs and partly, because I am able to go home after a couple of hours to my 2 older dogs, unlike their owner who lives with them full time. As I have said before, there really is no quick fix with a puppy. For me they are puppies until about 6 months old. Then they enter their teenage phase, but by 12 - 18 months they will be a well behaved adult if we get things right. Penny was certainly full of energy, but after just over 2 hours she was absolutely shattered and she was fast asleep when I left. Look forward to catching up with Penny and her family in a few weeks

Sharon was absolutely brilliant. She guided us through every aspect of puppy care from nutrition right through to basic training. Estelle was excellent in giving clear instructions, showing techniques to implement and explaining the reasons why Teddy behaves as he does. She was very clear about what he should and shouldn't have regarding food and treats. We have been doing training with him every day and we're already seeing an improvement in his behaviour. Estelle asked that we contact her after 2 weeks to let her know how he was doing. We will contact her to let her know how he's doing. She reassured us that she was available should we need assistance at any time. she sent us a printable version of the techniques to be used with him which was useful as we could give copies to everyone who looks after him.
