We were experiencing difficulties when walking Maxi because of her aggression toward other dogs. In almost every other way she was a perfect dog but as walking and exercise are such an inherent part of dog ownership this was becoming a big issue. We contacted Alex Fraser through the Bark Busters website and arranged for him to come and assess Maxi. Within the first few minutes of the meeting Alex was already working with Maxi and getting results. The technique of growling at your dog, a little odd at first, has had a phenomenal effect. Maxi now walks to heel, using the special chain and lead we purchased and is much improved when the post man comes to deliver. The concern with her behaviour with other dogs was treated head on and Alex has taught us to reassess Maxi's place within the family. By placing her back in a subservient position she is much less stressed, happier and is greeting and socialising with other dogs in a way that we could never have imagined. We are delighted with Alex and with Bark Busters and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone experiencing issues with their dogs. For the sake of your beloved pets, if they need help, get it from these guys, you will not look back.

Lee was very helpful and made us feel relaxed with the training of lilly, he was very easy to talk to and answered all our questions. Lilly is responding well with the training even though it only her first session, she is a changed dog, looking forward to our next session thank you Lee

Lee was fantastic. Within 10 minutes he has us walking Tex to heel with out pulling, something which even 10 weeks of obedience training never achieved. We had no idea that Tex's problem was nervousness rather than aggression. The techniques that Lee showed us has helped him so much in the house especially. He is no longer constantly pacing and following us around as much. From day one he became so much more relaxed we thought he was ill! We do have more work to do in his over the top greeting with other dogs and visitors but we are making amazing progress and I have every confidence that with Lee's help we will get there.

I actually can't put into words how helpful & good our trainer Andy was/is. Millie is a rescue dog with all the usual stuff, specially anxiety, paces, won't make contact or trust people easily, & worryingly that includes my parents too whom I live with at the mo. Andy helped with all of this, trained us to cope with the situation, made things so much clearer & today has been wonderful to see her getting closer to my Mum & actually taking food now from my Dad. As Andy said it will take time, but this has given me hope. Thank you so much :-) NB Millie was not from a rescue centre, she was rescued from a situation which was very bad & I was given permission to become her owner, if not she was going to be put down.

We were very pleased with the results. Our young dog was pulling on the lead and when Lee showed us what to do it was corrected almost instantly. We were amazed. Lee was very helpful and informative about what we had to do.

Andy was obviously very competent and loved dogs. He was very patient with both Carlos and us and showed us useful techniques and tools to used to help settle our fear aggressive rescue. Didn't know what to expect had no experience of trainers before. Felt at ease with Sharon straight away. She explained everything in a simple way so I could understand what she was doing with Smudge. He responded to Sharon brilliantly, she made him feel relaxed as well. Hope to continue training in 2 weeks looking forward to it.

One word - "amazing". Really impressed with the results after one session. Really enjoying putting my training in to practice and my pup is responding really well. Can't wait to see what we can achieve in the future. Thank you Lee!

Just an update on Stanley. After a single bah the first morning he hasn't barked in the morning since. I think the combination of food, crate covering & general leadership have also really helped. He's not yet perfect, but MUCH more respectful in the house & generally better behaved. Thank you so much.

We adopted Burtie from the RSPCA at burton on Trent soon after losing our beloved teddy who, also a jack Russell x, during our 12 years together gave us no trouble at all. We naively thought there are no bad dogs , just bad owners, however, we soon found that Burtie had a number of issues. Teddy was always walked off the lead but Burtie when walked on the lead would be aggressive when encountering other dogs & when we tried gradually with him off the lead he would be easily distracted & not come back when called. When left at home alone, teddy had the run of the house without problem but Burtie was anxious & destructive. We realised that at 2 1/2 , having spent the last 3 months in Kennels, Burtie may need more time to settle than we anticipated. Although we have had dogs in the past, it now seems they were pussy cats by comparison. We were unsure how to handle him for the best & a bit of research on the net led us to Barkbusters. A phone call resulted in Alex coming to our house & after chatting & getting our & Burt's background, we went into the garden to try a few simple exercises. We were amazed at how Burt responded & were encouraged by Alex's confidence. We were given simple instructions & exercises to practice with Burtie & in the weeks that followed saw real progress. We also realised we were as much Alex's pupil as Burtie. We have had to put in the work for the results but if has been worthwhile. Alex has been in regular contact & we met up for a walk with him & his own dog Max, giving us confidence walking Burtie with other dogs. He has been quick to respond when we were at our wits end & has been so supportive. Burtie is a much more settled dog. Great fun to walk off the lead & play with, we are still progressing, & Alex is still available if we need him. Would recommend without hesitation.

Fro the moment I picked up the phone and spoke to Lynn I felt reassured and supported with taking care of my new cockerpoo puppy. She quickly scheduled our first appointment for the Saturday which was fantastic. Lynn has given my husband and I so much confidence as first time dog owners. We have been given wonderful advice and strategies personalised to us and our home. I cant praise or thank Lynn enough for all her advice and support. 100% recommended to anyone with a new puppy
