We are so pleased to have come across Bark Busters when we did. We had been having a very difficult time trying to train our dog, Luna, to be left at home alone. Ben from Bark Busters was very understanding, and also very good at keeping everything straight forward. After just a couple of different small exercises he showed us with Luna, you could already see changes to her response when she was in a different room to us. By the time Ben left us, after a 3 hour session, we had a dog who simply laid down and went to sleep for the duration of us being out of the house. Since we were used to immediate barking, whining and howling as soon as we left, we are so impressed with how Ben's help and techniques solved the issue almost straight away. I now always recommend Bark Busters if anyone tells me they are having problems with training their dog. I found Ben very professional, knowledgeable and skilled. He put me at my ease straight away and my dogs loved him (always a good indicator). The training methods were effective from the start and I’m confident that in time we will achieve the desired results. I was flabbergasted at how quickly and thoroughly my dogs responded to Ben - he was kind but firm and left them in no doubt as to what he expected. I suffer with a lot of pain in my shoulders and wrists so walking three determined, pulling dogs leaves me unable to move my arms for days after … Ben and I took the dogs out and he recommended ways to stop them pulling and how to prevent Dolly reacting to other dogs whilst out. I couldn’t believe the difference in them even after just 30 minutes or so. I feel optimistic about eventually having three ‘normal’ dogs - it’s when for me now, not if. Ben also advised on ‘games’ for the dogs to stop them becoming bored too quickly while I’m at work - all of which have now been implemented … thanks Ben.

Right from the start Ben filled me with confidence he is so knowledgeable and friendly. The first session lasted nearly 4 hours, we did some lessons in the house and then went out for a walk where there were quite a few dogs, as we entered the park my reactive dog barked and growled at a dog leaving, Ben immediately took control and let her know this was definitely not acceptable, for the rest of our time he was teaching me as well as Maya how to behave correctly. We have put this training into practice every day since his visit and I am most definitely seeing improvement in her behaviour. He has given me the confidence to take her out and not avoid other dogs at all costs.

Ben arrived and filled the room .He is tall and imposing and not what I expected . But wow does he understand dogs. I have 2 Daschunds and they are fearless and in control in their own home so they were as surprised as I was when he took control of them and they immediately responded. His technique almost had me sitting on command. After an hour my wife and I were given coping skills that have proven invaluable. I am very impressed and I am not someone who is impressed easily. It was a pleasure to work with him and for him to share his skills and compassion with us. The dogs were impressed as well. I highly recommend him and have to friends with dogs.

Ben was really friendly and spent a good amount of time explaining the theory before meeting our puppies. The lesson itself was over 3.5hrs so excellent value for money so far. The methods taught made an immediate improvement in behaviour - it was quite amazing! And we have lots to work on now and are reassured we can call back on Ben when needed.

Before Ben came to us, Hugo, an otherwise lovely dog, would bark incessantly, making it impossible to work from home, or take him anywhere in the car. We thought we'd tried everything, friendly advice from neighbours, YouTube videos, endless searching the internet for solutions but nothing worked. In the first session, Ben showed us practical techniques to quieten Hugo. We couldn't believe it, but the results were almost immediate. One week on and we now have a quiet household! Highly recommend.

I was having various issues with our eight month old puppy. She was showing signs of aggression on people coming into the house cause and continuously pulling and biting at her lead whilst on walks. Jumping and pulling at passing vehicles, people et cetera. On arrival of Ben my local trainer who was allocated to come and see us. He ran through various techniques and found one is the best suited us and our dog. And I am pleased to say that to date we are controlling the aggression in the house within minutes of an arrival and the walking has improved 100+ percent. Still a lot of work to do and but as long as we stick to the system that Ben showed us I am sure not only would we be better equipped and trained for our dog, Harley will have a more interactive life with us and everyone outside of our family. I cannot fault the training method that we were taught as it is already paying dividends after the first 48 hours. Thank you Buck and thank you Ben. It is a continued process over 12 months and we know that you are there as soon as we ask for you. Thank you again
