Gavin was excellent, explained everything clearly

Gavin is a really lovely, friendly person. Right from his arrival i knew he was going to save my ears from my two lovely but slightly over vocal mini dachshunds. Dottie and George took to him straight away, which made the whole process so much easier. Everything was fine in a calm and timely manner. Gavin explained everything so simply and gave reasons as to why and how training is done. We are one week in, to date, and so far there have been definite improvements with recall and barking. Looking forward to the next session at the end of May. Thank you so much Gavin.

It is early days as we have only had one visit/training session with gavin at bark busters and our dogs has challenges to overcome which will take time. We will continue to use the training methods and look forward to seeing an improvement.

Early days to comment on the success of the training but going in the right direction

Gavin was really friendly and very knowledgeable. He was patient and answered all our questions, he spent a long time getting to understand our concerns and giving really helpful feedback and advice and gave us a training plan to work on. Explained everything very well and was easy to get along with.

We thought that the training required was more about helping us to have the best relationship with our dog. There were a few minor issues and we explained all this to Gavin. He listened to what we said, gave us advice on understanding how our dog thinks and then gave us training and simple strategies to help us have the best possible relationship with our dog. He went above and beyond to provide further information to help us on our journey with our dog. Gavin has excellent interpersonal skills and also quickly built a rapport with us and our dog who absolutely loved him. We cannot speak highly enough of Gavin and are grateful for all his help. We would thoroughly recommend Gavin to anyone who is looking for a dog trainer.

We reached out to Bark Busters for help with our very boisterous, demanding dog and his sister whose behaviour had started to take over our home, with lots of barking, pulling, and general chaos! From the moment Gavin arrived, we felt at ease. Even though it was an evening appointment, he never rushed. He took his time to observe, ask questions, and most importantly, explain why we were seeing the behaviours we were seeing and why he was asking us to try different commands and actions. That really helped me buy into the programme. Gavin provided us with a personal written report, tailored specifically to us and our dogs, along with a pack of supportive documents to guide us between sessions. What really stood out was how understanding he was, there was no judgement, just reassurance and practical advice. He recognised how easily things can escalate into chaos and gave us the tools and confidence to start turning things around. We’ve only had our first session, but I already feel so relieved that we reached out for help. We’re looking forward to showing Gavin the progress we know we can make before he returns in 5 weeks!

We were so glad to meet Gavin and start on the road to improving our dogs behaviour, I think even Gavin was a little astounded with our boy but we put our trust in Gav and bark busters methods , we have made big changes in his diet and our start in passive leadership. We are only a week in but feel better in our understanding and process to try to improve him Gavin was going away to look up why our dog behaved in such an odd manner , but we are happy to work with Gavin and look forward to our next session all early days yet

Gavin's visit to my mum's house to work with her dogs was invaluable. He was professional and knowledgeable, providing a good clear outline of the programme, explaining the science behind food whilst giving ongoing training tips to manage the behaviours of two protective small Jackapoos. The work done outside to start the training was well done and manageable for my mum. Learning to talk dog was interesting. Gavin's provision of a bespoke programme and knowing he is only on the end of an email is welcome. Mum's working hard and at day 3 there is definitely a change in behaviour. I would recommend Gavin.
