Excellent and very insightful.

Wow!!!! We didn't expect such immediate results but with Lynn's guidance and demonstrations we were amazed at the difference in our dogs behaviour. Molly (the rescue westie) has been with us for nearly 5 years and was 'top dog', whereas Hugo (the pug) was a 6 year old rescue with severe separation anxiety. On top of Molly always barking when someone came to the door and not always being friendly with other dogs whilst walking on the lead, we now had sibling rivalry, a dog who had no training whatsoever, and having to sleep downstairs to stop Hugo whining and crying all night if he wasn't with me! On We took onboard everything Lynn told us - from changing their food to how we interacted with them - and the results were fast and made having the dogs even more pleasurable. After getting a new puppy I decided to enlist the help of a trainer to set myself and Larry off with the best start possible for us both. I found Bark Busters online and the set me up with Lynn as my trainer. Larry wasn't my first dog and although my previous staffy had been pretty well behaved, I knew I had made some mistakes as well as discovering that Larry is a totally different personality. Therefore I wanted expert guidance before problems arose. I found many trainers online, but it was important to me that the trainer come to my home. That's what made Bark Busters stand out to me. I also felt totally reasurred by the guarantee. I opted for the year guarantee due to Larry being a puppy, which Lynn agreed should be fine. The first visit, Lynn was with us for four hours. She is a lovely, down to earth lady. She is very approachable and did not make me feel daft or silly with any questions I had. She was very reassuring and clear with her training and most of all, gave me confidence in how to train Larry. I was struggling to bond with Larry, but very soon after Lynns' first visit, the bond started to kick in. Larry and I have had our second visit today to help with lead training. Also, due to very difficult family circumstances that I am going through, some of the training Lynn had advised during her first visit, had gone a bit 'Pete Tong' . Lynn was very sympathetic and understanding and not only did not tell me off for not following the training to a T, she reasurred me that Larry is actually coming along well and gave me the encouragement I needed to continue with the training. It helps so much, knowing that Lynn is there to call on. I can't recommend Lynn and Bark Busters enough.

Extremely helpful although I found it hard to take everything in but with the help of the training instructions I am making progress with Daisy. Perhaps two visits to cover what we did on 19/11 and to include more time on recall which I know I am going to need more help from Lynn on. When I phone Lynn after 14 days I will be asking her to return, I think Lynn will be expecting that. Lynn is a very good instructor and I was very happy with the time she spent with us.

I learned so much about Alfie and he is like a different dog after only a few days of putting the training into action. The biggest thing for me is he was barking so much and wouldn't sleep in his bed. He doesn't bark anymore, he sleeps in jus own bed and is so much happier. Thank you for letting me enjoying my lovely little dog again after only three hours of training.

Lynn was straight talking to the point and we could see a difference almost immediately. It was clear she would take the time needed and really wanted to help us. Lynn was reassuring that we would be able to train our dog and very positive. After the session both us and Sydney were exhausted! very happy, excited and motivated to do the homework/training we had been left. We have finished our first day of training and the improvement already is amazing. Thank you Lynn! .. We know we will be able to get to where we would like to be :)

Lynn has been incredibly helpful in showing us how to train Humphrey into a more obedient dog. Very helpful advice and spent time showing us how to do the exercises.

Lynn helped with my dogs problem behavior correction such as lead walking and barking. She was able to clearly explain what is to be followed on an ongoing basis to ensure the problem is gone for good. Her instruction are clear and concise and very simple to follow. She knows what she is doing and also gave suggestions on my dogs diet. I have already signed up for another session.

We were stunned at how quickly Lynn identified Punk's behavioural issues and more to the point, the causes of them. She was able to come up with training techniques which immediately helped us to begin resolving the problems - it turned out that actually it was not Punk who needed training but my partner and I. It was things we were doing which were causing him to behave in the way he did. By the end of our initial 3 hour session Punk was walking to heel (having previously pulled us everywhere), started to learn that he was not "top" dog and did not rule our household and was a much calmer animal. Lynn explained that where we had placed his bed in our kitchen from where he had an unobstructed view of our front door, meant he was effectively "on guard", 24 hours a day which accounted for him being so excitable and always wanting to be out in front on our walks, he was just continuing his "guard duty" outside of our home. A simple change to the location of his bed (which we would never have thought of) and he became a calmer, more relaxed animal literally overnight. The training techniques do have to be practised regularly but they absolutely DO work.

I could not be more pleased after our visit from Lynn. She took control of Snoopy as soon as she arrived and was absolutely amazing with him. Snoopy has three main issues, on lead aggression- particularly old men in hats, separation anxiety and I couldn't get him near my three cats with out him trying to chase and attack them. As I write this on the evening of her visit I have the dog asleep in his crate and one of my cats on my lap. This is like a miracle!!! He is literally like a different dog. What can I say, I have been educated and the Bark Busters techniques really do work! Lynn made me realise that Snoopy was ruling the house and we were pandering to his every whim. As soon as I stopped and informed my boyfriend to do the same we have a completely different dynamic in the house and he's behaving so much better. And this is only day 1!! We tackled all the issues within a 3 hour period and took him on a very controlled walk with the aid of a 'Canny' collar- the best thing since sliced bread. Lynn taught me how to use it and control him with it. He went from pulling on the lead and sniffing everything in sight to walking right by my side with me in control, it was awesome!! We purposefully walked past anyone we thought he would go for including the postman in his high vis and just by correcting him before it escalated meant that we had no issues with lunging and I no longer felt nervous about walking him. I learnt that his separation anxiety isn't as bad as I thought and Lynn gave me a plan of short timeouts to build up slowly so he gets used to being on his own. When we practiced it a simple thing of putting him in the bedroom where he sleeps instead of trying to leave him in the living room made the world of difference!! He did well with a few corrections for whining. I was very surprised! Lynn has left me with some gadgets to correct him with and I am going to change his diet on her advice. I am already feeling so much better about everything and Lynn has instilled a new confidence in me. I would highly recommended Lynn and Bark Busters to anyone with doggy problems. It's been a beath of fresh air and worth every penny! I am one happy customer. Thank you so much!!

Before I found Barkbusters I had become very disheartened I had lots of people telling me that because Scooby is a lurcher “sighthound” he cannot be trained, he will always run off, you will never be able to walk him without a lead, he won't come back etc etc. I phoned Barkbusters and Lynn got back to me that day and we arranged for her to come and see Scooby, she made me understand why he was behaving the way he was and it was because I had made him the leader of the pack, so he was constantly minding me around the house, he would cry when I left a room, follow me everywhere, and be aggressive towards other dogs. Within weeks I noticed a huge change in Scooby, his recall is excellent, we are still in the process of training but he is a completely different dog, it's the best decision I have made. I would definitely recommend Lynn to others.

Absolutely fabulous service, great value for money and simple, easy to understand techniques. My 2 and a half year old Cocker cross Springer Spaniel Tia has been a handful since she was about 6 months old and we were at the end of our tether with her. She had to be locked away when we had visitors as she would jump up and try and sit on everyone's laps, would also pull on the lead and was generally a bit naughty, but with Lynn's help and support we now have a calm, well behaved family dog, and the difference was noticeable even after only a few hours. Lynn also recommended that we change Tia's diet which has also made a big difference. All the theory behind the techniques and recommendations is explained In detail which makes them easier to understand. Very much looking forward to working on recall techniques.
