We could not be happier with the outcome of our first training session!! Jo is incredibly hands on, non judgmental, straight talking and really takes the time to listen to your concerns.
Jo also appreciates that every dog and family are different and that training sometimes needs a flexible approach to work for everyone. We will be working hard now to put everything on to practice (Jo makes everything look so easy!) And it is... once you have mastered things :)
I can't recommend Jo highly enough. She has given us the tools and confidence to ensure that we guide Teddy to being a happy, fun loving (but obedient) dog.

Trainer note from Graham
These owners have a lovely Labradoodle who is a typical high energy adolescent dog. They have done some good basic training, but this was coming a little unstuck as he grew into a teenager who was pushing the boundaries. This is always difficult because dog training is not "one size fits all". It has to take into account the dog, its nature, how quick he or she learns and what environment the dog is living in. Teddy is very bright and responded really well to guidance and focus work. He loves to please and once he knew what was wanted he was really eager to engage in training.
These owners have a lovely Labradoodle who is a typical high energy adolescent dog. The lesson was very enlightening and helpful. Not only did Jo explain how to perform the training she also explained the thorough reasoning behind it to give us a full picture. Jo herself was polite, patient and understanding which we greatly appreciated. Lottie responded so well to her calming influence and we saw marked improvement on the first lesson! We also learnt so much more than we have ever learnt from dog training classes before.

Lottie is a young Lakeland and Patterdale Terrier cross and is a very active young dog who needs lot of exercise. She has been well trained by her owners but sadly she has been attacked and badly injured twice by other dogs. As a result, over time she has steadily become more aggressive towards dogs. Her owners are very practical and walk her on a muzzle and lead for safety, but she lunges and barks when near any other dogs which is embarrassing for her owners. At this point we are working on getting control of Lotties lunging and barking but she has shown clear signs that she can be more relaxed around other dogs so we will do future work on this.

Jo gave us some great practical tips to help Bibi settle into life with us after we adopted her. Jo was very easy to get in contact with and provided us with very helpful follow up support. With Jo's help we're doing better every day :)

Graham dealt with Aggression, Pulling
Graham gave us the right tools to manage Ektoras and that has resulted in immediately improving our relationship with Ektoras. He is now a calmer dog and much more manageable during his walks.
The methods employed by Graham and Bark Busters are very efficient and non violent for the dog!
Graham was very explicit, very friendly and we had a great time learning how to be a better family with Ektoras and our two cats!

The training was simple yet highly effective. We have already seen improvements in behaviour after 5 days. Dietary advice was a real eye opener, having switched to the natural feeding Tippus is a lot calmer and loves his meals. The session was enjoyable for both of us and Tippus. Andy made sure we discussed and worked on all the behaviours we needed help with. We would thoroughly recommend Andy!

After just one session with Graham we have been amazed at the difference it has made to our 11 week cockapoo puppy Monty. Graham took time to assess Monty's character before calmly and patiently explaining Barkbusters approach to training. Within minutes Monty responded to Graham and it gave me the confidence to put the theory into practice. The ‘look at me' command to gain Monty's attention and make him refocus has been a revelation.
Today, 10 days later, Graham came back with a couple of his dogs so we could take Monty out for the first time. I wasn't hopeful as walking on the lead in our house and in the garden had so far been a disaster. Within a couple of minutes Graham had Monty walking on the lead and we then enjoyed a really good walk in the park with his dogs. Monty loved it and so did I.

Zara is a 2 year old rottweiler and couple of months ago she started barking towards people and other dogs making walking her a nightmare. Another problem was pulling and running to the front door.After just first appointment with Andy she made incredible progress ,her behavior improved a lot and i am really happy with service provided by Andy who is great therapist and lovely person with good contact both with me and my dog .Big thank you for you!!!

Our dog was having problems with discipline but within one session with bark busters, he was a completely different dog. It may seem like a lot of money but it is well worth the price.
