I Jacquie was brilliant, really interesting to talk to and very informative. Had an immediate effect on our dog who didn't bark at her at all!

I have 2 miniature Dachshunds that are the love of my life and between them had several issues which needed addressing - but the main issue was the escalating aggressive behaviour of the older Dachshund (4 years) which prompted me to contact Bark Busters. On the initial visit Jacquie spent several hours with us and also accompanied us on a walk to observe them. She made several suggestions and devised a plan for us to follow. (I think really it's about training the owners not the dogs)!!! After 3 weeks she returned for a progress check. I can honestly say the results were amazing and I can hardly believe that such small changes in their routine and lifestyle have made such huge improvements. It is now 6 weeks after the initial visit and their behaviour is very much improved. For anyone experiencing difficulties with their dogs behaviour, I would have no hesitation In recommending Jacquie. She has a wealth of knowledge, very patient and not at all judgmental.

Very clear instructions given by Jacquie as what to do when Beau barks too much. Lots of other additional advice such as on feeding and trying to de-sensitive Beau from barking at the Dyson, Lawnmowers, joggers and cyclists.

Jackie made us feel at ease straight away, all 3 of our dogs took to her and our older dog who normally doesn't stop barking when he doesnt know who the visitor is, quietened down quickly. Our youngest dog was who Jackie had come to see to help us with a training plan appeared almost too good to be true, he responded quickly to what he and we had been taught, although walking to heel on the lead is going to take a lot of work!!! Not too bad when on his own without distractions but walking with the other two can be of nightmare proportions. Will have to work hard with him and still make it fun. He has taken well to a raw diet, im not too keen on the crunching up of bones, he is loving it and it has helped with stopping him eating his own poo but he still tries very hard to get to the other two's poo if we are not quick enough to clear it up, but they are fed kibble! Jackie was very helpful and informative and at no time were we made to feel uncomfortable with bark busters training methods. Would highly recommend

Jacquie was extremely pleasant , friendly and efficient. I immediately felt she had a lot of knowledge to offer about Betty's problems. Crucially I also felt she listened carefully to what I was saying. She broke down managing Betty's behaviour into small goals. Although it is less than a week ago I feel there has been a significant improvement in Betty's behaviour .

Well time flies by so quickly and we can't believe it's been over a month already since we had our training session with Jacquie, who we have to say was so friendly and easy to talk to and taught us so much in those 3hrs that flew by so quickly. our Molly is a 2yr old Staffie Cross (we think with a high jumping Whippet! Lol) Molly was leaping, mouthing, pulling and jumping on everyone who came near us! Jacquie taught her (kindly) that she was not in charge and taught us not to feel sorry for her but to understand that her past was indeed in the past (mostly caged for 2yrs 24/7 and starved hence the RSPCA rescue, she didn't even know how to play Ball bless her) and this was her future which meant we were in charge and she would learn to respect us... So weeks later she is starting to get her head round what we need from her, she doesn't leap anymore She occasionally jumps up, through excitement, but a quick reminder and she's down She sits in her bed and waits to be invited to say hello to visitors (occasionally forgetting herself, but a quick reminder puts her back in bed. Walking to heel is still ongoing and can be quite good until she sees a bird, butterfly, bee, basically anything that moves!! But we're not giving up on the training as our hands are no longer sore from her previous pulling, we just think this little girl has special needs and takes a bit longer to register what we're wanting her to do. Recall is good as we blow the whistle she relates to her food (another training aid suggested by Jacquie, yaay) My frail 88 yr old Mum came over for a visit again this week, and for the first time I didn't have to put Molly on lead around the house and Mum was able to sit peacefully in the chair, an odd reminder from Mum to not come up and Molly walked away, plus getting up to walk around Molly didn't jump up one her. Molly still has her moments of madness but these are getting less over the weeks of training and as long as we stay consistent we're pretty sure she will continue to improve. All training given was kind and caring, no harsh methods used, so we're very pleased with the results so far. All in all we can't thank Jacquie enough for her help, we believe we have the makings of a fantastic little girl, rescue dogs can be the best pets with the right trainers. Clear and Helpful advice giving explanations to why my monsters behave the way they do. Realistic training guide/plan to hopefully becoming happier, healthier and calmer dogs. With Sane owners!
