About me
I was born in Southeast London, and I grew up there with my family and often up to seven small dogs. After leaving education, I worked in various industries some in the motor trade and then moved to Kent to raise my family; four children and a pack of 4 Labradors kept me very busy.

Throughout this time, I realised that dogs were an essential part of my life. When time permitted, I began working with local rescue groups fostering needy dogs, most were successfully rehomed, but some unfortunately never left. Many of them had behaviour problems, separation anxiety, aggression to dogs and or people, having lost trust in humans, causing a variety of unwanted behaviours. Coco was one of them, a lovely chocolate Labrador, who became aggressive with other dogs approaching her and pulled like a train causing me shoulder and back pain, so much so, that I began to dread taking her out.  I recognised that I needed some professional help and I found Bark Busters online.  Andy, my local behaviour therapist, came to visit and made a huge difference to my life and that of Coco's too! She learned to walk beautifully on lead and was able to become more relaxed when other dogs appeared.  Ever since then, many of my foster dogs have benefited from the same gentle and easy to follow methods that I leaned.

Having moved to beautiful South Staffordshire following changes in my life, I was able to follow my dream of becoming a Bark Busters dog behaviour therapist and trainer and I now work in this fabulous area.
