Really enjoyed meeting Chuck and his family today. He was a little stressed when I first turned up, but by the end of the training session he was far more chilled and no longer barked at me when I came in or moved around. Generally we can make a difference by the end of the initial session, but even I was pleasantly surprised with how relaxed Chuck was by the time I left.

Deizel is a really lovely dog - but can jump as high as my head and has amazing strength which makes walking him extremely difficult. Although not fixed, he responded really well to the training we did and I’m confident with the ongoing training, he will make his Mum very proud.
Keep up the good work

Bruno is a lovely puppy - but he is going to be a very big puppy. Big puppies are always more of a challenge than smaller breeds for obvious reasons. He did really well on his first training session, but it is early days as the first 12 months with any puppy can have it’s challenges as well as many joyful moments. I love big dogs, so I’m looking forward to watching him grow up.

Jack is a really lovely puppy, but very nervous when he steps out of the front door. Nerves / excitement takes over and it’s very difficult to get his focus. Training needs to take place around the home and back garden and slowly introduce him to areas that worry him. Also need to increase his confidence in his owners. I’m really looking forward to catching up with Jack in few weeks.

It’s nice to work with older dogs and puppies in one session, and this was no exception. Both dogs did really well and I’m looking forward to catching up with them all soon.

Really enjoyed meeting Pedro and his parents, although he was a little stressed about my arrival, hence being asked to help. By the end of the first session, he was far less stressed by me being there, and didn’t seem to mind me leaving or entering the room he was in. Looking forward to catching up with him soon to see if the homework I’ve left the pays off. I’m confident it will.

Really great session and the owners dog responded really well. I’m delighted with the feedback I received in regards to how well she is behaving on her walks. She is far less stressed when out and about. But to achieve a happier less stressed dog on walks, it’s important to change the dynamic between the owner and their dog within the home first. Keep up the good work!!

Really enjoyed meeting Toby and his family. He is the first puppy they have owned and although they were doing OK, they needed some help and guidance to make sure Toby grows up to be a well behaved little boy. Toby responded really well, and I’m looking forward to catching up with them all before Christmas to help with the lead training.

This session went really really well. When I meet nervous dogs that don’t want me to come in their home, I need to make sure I go at the dogs pace. We did far more with Timmy than I initially expected as he was very stressed when I arrived. I was delighted to hear they had taken him out for the day and he behaved himself.Â

Really enjoyed this session and I had a little bit if dog envy - I could have happily taken Betty and Wilf home - but four dogs would be a bit much. With puppies it’s so important to get the foundation right. The correct amount of good quality food (puppies need a bigger percentage con relationship to their body weight compared to that of an adult), lots and lots of sleep, some simple ground rules, and attempting to be a bit more aloof (which is the difficult bit). There is no real quick fix with training a puppy, but with patience and the right techniques, owners will get their in the end. Both dogs did really well. Keep up the good work.
