Alex dealt with Pulling, Recall
We were really pleased with how the training session went with Alex. We have already seen a big difference in how Flynn is walking on his lead. Alex explained clearly what we should do and how we should do it. The session was very thorough including indoors and outdoors We would definitely recommend Alex and Barkbusters.
The initial session is always a longer session, anywhere between 2-3 hours. Most customers will get some relatively quick wins following the initial session, however further support is usually required to ensure the owner has the correct skills to resolve certain issues that can often take longer to improve, to to help with puppies as they grow up. Every now and again a meet a dog who doesn’t really have “behavioural issues”, but instead just needs some “fine tuning”. Flynn was one of these dogs. Even though their main problem was Flynn pulling on lead, I always like to work with a dog inside their home first before doing lead work. We decided to just do the initial session without follow up support, but i am happy for Flynn’s owners to upgrade to one of my follow up support packages if they decide they would benefit from further support.

Absolutely loved meeting Orchid and his parents. Although I always use a similar structure for my people training, it’s important to tailor the session to the needs of the owner and their dog to ensure we achieve the desired results. Orchid responded really well to the training, but there is no quick fix to train any young puppy as they go through a massive amount of development in the first 12 to 18 months of their lives. Can’t wait to catch up with them in a week to work more on lead work.

I really appreciate receiving such positive feedback from my customers, but to receive such amazing feedback in less than 5 hours after the initial session is an added bonus and put a massive smile on my face. I have worked with many customers who have tried working with different home trainers before they have reached out to me. And although there are some other very good home trainers out there, I honestly believe that the combination of the training I received from Bark Busters my 12 years experience of working with dogs and their owners, I can help any owner improve their dogs behaviours sooner rather than later. I am delighted with how quickly Dougie started to listen and I can’t wait to catch up with them all to see how they are all getting along.

Smudge did really well on his first training session and I can’t wait to catch up with them both in a few weeks to see how he is getting on. Apparently Smudge never listened to his owner, but within an hour of being there he really started to understand which behaviours were acceptable and which weren’t and he really started to listen to her. The reality is, there is no quick fix for a puppy, but following the initial session most customers will get some relatively quick wins. Some behaviours however can take longer to fix or improve. With some hard work and consistency, I am confident Smudge will grow up to be a very well behaved dog.

There appears to be another puppy boom at the moment which I am really enjoying. All puppies have their challenges and they go though a massive amount of development in the first 12 to 18 months of their lives, but with the right training techniques, patience and consistency, we can always male them the best version of themselves. Can’t wait to catch up with them all in a few weeks to see how they are all getting on and to build on their training.

Had a fantastic first session with Alex. His enthusiasm and detail in the work he does is fantastic. We went over the way we’d want our new puppy to fit into our lives, and the type of behaviours we’d want to teach. I’m looking forward to the rest of the journey with Alex’s help.
Another week, another puppy. This is why I love my job. Meeting a puppy for the first time is always amazing, but watching them grow up and get them listening to their owners is even better. I have more job satisfaction from working with dogs over the past 12 years compared to any other job I have had. Can’t wait to catch up with them all this Friday.

Alex is great. Otis, my 2yr old GSD tried to floor him , ( nicely) as he came through the door. Alex handled it well. Working on it. It's less than a week in, and Otis is walking a lot better, I'm not being pulled from pillar to post, he's walking quite nicely by my side and with a loose lead. I can't wait to see how much more WE can learn. THANKS ALEX
In the past 12 years I have had the pleasure of working with a lot of GSDs, a number of which were nervous, resulting in them being over protective of their homes and their families. Otis on the other hand was a gentle giant, but he doesn’t appear to realise how big he is and he loves to jump up at friends and family entering his home. He can also be difficult to manage on lead when he becomes excited due to his size and strength. In order to teach any dog to work well to heel, it’s essential to get them listening to their owner around the home first when their dog is calm, so that the owner can start to refocus their dog when they become more adrenalised on a walk. Can’t wait to catch up with them both in a few weeks and we can do more heel work training and start to teach Otis recall.

Really enjoyed this session. Initially I wasn’t sure how much we would be able to get done as its important that the training is taken at the dogs pace and not then owners, and to start with he was quite excitable and mouthy. But he quickly started to listen and I really was pleasantly surprised with how well he did - especially inside the home. There is no quick fix or magic wand, but with some consistency ands the correct techniques, I am confident he will grow up to be a well behave boy. Can’t wait to catch up with them all soon.

All puppies have their challenges, but an English Bull Terrier puppy may challenge more than most, even if the owner has had young dongs before. I was delighted with how well he did on his first training session, and Im even more delighted to hear that they are already feeling more in charge of Eddie. Can’t wait to catch up with them all in a few weeks. Keep up the good work!

Great session and 2 really lovely dogs. Puppies tend to be puppies until approximately 6 months and then they enter their teenage phase. The 2 teenagers I met did so well around the home, but were very excitable on their walk. In order for our dogs to listen to us outside of the home, it’s important at that they listen well inside the home. Looking forward to catching up with them all in a few weeks.

Alex was brilliant with my chihuahua Samson. His training is very professional and instructions thorough and easy to follow. Not only for his doggie customer but my son and I too. Nothing is rushed and his love of dogs and his job training them is heart-warming. We all learnt so much and now count Alex as a friend who’s welcome here any time. Thanks Alex👍
I have loved working with Samson and his family. The first time I met Samson he was very anxious when I entered his home and initially he struggled to settle every time I stood up to walk around. But by the end of the first session he was so much calmer. I caught up with them all last week and he was like a different dog. Very little barking when I entered their home and he was a lot more settled the entire time I was with them.
