11th August 2026 - Liz Johnson

Liz dealt with Aggression, Chewing, Hyperactivity, Jumping up

I can't believe the difference since Liz visited. Murphy is like a different dog. Much less in your face. It still is a work in progress but I have every faith in the advice Liz gave.

Sharon is a dog whisperer. I could not believe how she got both my dogs to do as they were told. Very impressed and what a lovely, friendly lady.

10th August 2026 - Abi Dudfield

Abi dealt with Puppy Management

We honestly couldn’t recommend Abi highly enough! From the moment she arrived, she was warm, approachable and immediately put both us and our puppy Monty at ease. As first time puppy owners, we wanted to make sure we were giving Monty the best possible start and helping him grow into a calm, confident and well-mannered dog and we came away from our first session feeling so much more confident ourselves. Abi spent plenty of time getting to know Monty and understanding both what we were already doing and the areas where we wanted some support. Nothing felt rushed or generic, everything was explained clearly, demonstrated with Monty and then practised with us so that we understood not only what to do but why we were doing it. We covered so much, including crate training, boundaries, impulse control, puppy biting, barking, independence and preparing Monty for walks and new experiences. We particularly appreciated that Abi recognised the things we were already doing well while giving us really practical changes and exercises to work on. We started putting her advice into practice straight away and have already seen some really positive progress with Monty’s crate naps and his ability to settle. What we loved most was that Abi completely understood the kind of relationship we want with Monty. We absolutely want him to have lots of love, cuddles, fun and adventures, while also helping him learn to be patient, confident and well mannered. Her advice felt really tailored to helping us achieve exactly that. It is also incredibly reassuring knowing that Abi is there to support us as Monty grows and that we can go back to her with questions and challenges along the way. We finished the session feeling positive, reassured and excited to keep working with him. Thank you so much, Abi! Monty absolutely loved you, and so did we! We’re really looking forward to continuing to work with you as he grows.

Thank you so much, David and Alex, for such a lovely review. It was an absolute pleasure working with Monty. What an amazing puppy he is! Thank you for trusting me with your little boy. Keep up the amazing work with him, you’re doing a fantastic job! I look forward to continuing to support you and Monty as he grows.

6th August 2026 - Tom Ryan

Tom dealt with Chewing, Jumping up, Pulling, Puppy Management, Separation Anxiety, Sibling Rivalry

Very good meeting - Tom was brilliant - we hit it off from the outset he provided some excellent information on pet behaviour, health and food that is not readily available on google

- B.A, Corby (Testimonial)

5th August 2026 - Alex Fraser

Alex dealt with Pulling, Recall

We were really pleased with how the training session went with Alex. We have already seen a big difference in how Flynn is walking on his lead. Alex explained clearly what we should do and how we should do it. The session was very thorough including indoors and outdoors We would definitely recommend Alex and Barkbusters.

- L.P, Flixton (Testimonial)

Trainer note from Alex

The initial session is always a longer session, anywhere between 2-3 hours. Most customers will get some relatively quick wins following the initial session, however further support is usually required to ensure the owner has the correct skills to resolve certain issues that can often take longer to improve, to to help with puppies as they grow up. Every now and again a meet a dog who doesn’t really have “behavioural issues”, but instead just needs some “fine tuning”. Flynn was one of these dogs. Even though their main problem was Flynn pulling on lead, I always like to work with a dog inside their home first before doing lead work. We decided to just do the initial session without follow up support, but i am happy for Flynn’s owners to upgrade to one of my follow up support packages if they decide they would benefit from further support.

4th August 2026 - Liz Johnson

Amazing first session and can see a difference in my approach and my dogs behaviour already.

4th August 2026 - Alex Fraser

Alex dealt with Jumping up, Puppy Management

We had our first session with Alex for our Cockapoo puppy, Orchid, and we were really impressed. As first-time puppy owners, we had lots of questions and concerns, and Alex was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and reassuring throughout the session. He took the time to understand Orchid's personality and behaviour rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. His advice was practical, easy to follow, and tailored to our home and routine. We came away feeling much more confident and with a clear plan to help Orchid grow into a happy, well-behaved dog. It's clear that Alex genuinely cares about both the dogs and their owners. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for professional, friendly, and effective puppy training. Thank you, Alex!

- T.K, Wilmslow (Testimonial)

Trainer note from Alex

Absolutely loved meeting Orchid and his parents. Although I always use a similar structure for my people training, it’s important to tailor the session to the needs of the owner and their dog to ensure we achieve the desired results. Orchid responded really well to the training, but there is no quick fix to train any young puppy as they go through a massive amount of development in the first 12 to 18 months of their lives. Can’t wait to catch up with them in a week to work more on lead work.

28th July 2026 - Alex Fraser

Alex dealt with Aggression, Barking, Hyperactivity, Jumping up, Pulling

We couldn’t recommend Alex enough, within five minutes of meeting him we knew he had excellent experience and wanted to help us get the best out of Dougie. Dougie is nearly five and we have never been able to get him to stay and wait and after a few tries he was doing it. Alex was really knowledgeable, non judgemental and rather than just telling us what to do he got us to try the techniques with his supervision until we understood what we need to do. Looking forward to future sessions with him where we can get feedback on the skills he has taught us. We had a really detailed follow up email explaining everything we had gone through in the session and what we needed to practice with Dougie which we haven’t had before.

- S.B, Manchester (Testimonial)

Trainer note from Alex

I really appreciate receiving such positive feedback from my customers, but to receive such amazing feedback in less than 5 hours after the initial session is an added bonus and put a massive smile on my face. I have worked with many customers who have tried working with different home trainers before they have reached out to me. And although there are some other very good home trainers out there, I honestly believe that the combination of the training I received from Bark Busters my 12 years experience of working with dogs and their owners, I can help any owner improve their dogs behaviours sooner rather than later. I am delighted with how quickly Dougie started to listen and I can’t wait to catch up with them all to see how they are all getting along.

27th July 2026 - Tom Ryan

Tom dealt with Barking, Hyperactivity, Jumping up, Pulling

Tom was amazing & explained everything so simply it just made sense from the beginning. It was more about training our minds in how a dogs mind work & when explained & shown in practice it just clicked into place & made sense.

- A.H, Sutton coldfield (Testimonial)

26th July 2026 - Alex Fraser

Alex dealt with Digging, Hyperactivity, Jumping up, Puppy Management, Recall, Other

Alex came to my house on 20-07-2026 to meet and train my 6 month old chihuahua, I honestly thought I was wasting my time because he’s so giddy, however I was a really proud dog mum smudge really watched and listened to Alex and with the information Alex sent over to me I have been consistent every day and he’s doing well still gets his moments but he’s only a baby and I’m hoping he ll have good manners when we finish the training with Alex thank you so much I’m so happy I chose barkbusters kelly

- K.B, Manchester (Testimonial)

Trainer note from Alex

Smudge did really well on his first training session and I can’t wait to catch up with them both in a few weeks to see how he is getting on. Apparently Smudge never listened to his owner, but within an hour of being there he really started to understand which behaviours were acceptable and which weren’t and he really started to listen to her. The reality is, there is no quick fix for a puppy, but following the initial session most customers will get some relatively quick wins. Some behaviours however can take longer to fix or improve. With some hard work and consistency, I am confident Smudge will grow up to be a very well behaved dog.
