Alex was very informative easy to get and very quickly got my dog teddie to trust him which was amazing you could see the difference in his behaviour before Alex left. I am a week in and we have made improvements but still a way to go sure if I stick with the plan and instructions will be able to make teddie a much more relaxed and better behaved dog. Lead control is hard work but he is getting there .

This session went better than I thought it would as Teddie was very anxious / excited when I first entered their home and barked a lot. I always need to ensure that we do as much as we can on the initial session without rushing it for the owner, but more importantly rushing it for their dog. Following the session most owners will have some quick wins as some behaviours are easier to improve than others. On the flip side, some behaviours can take a lot longer to fix or improve. It’s important that owners continue to be consistent, so some daily programming so that their dogs respond well when they are calm so that in time the owner can refocus their dog when they become more adrenalised.

Alex was great. He really listened to the issues I am having with Merryn and gave me various activities to try. He modelled everything first which made it easier to then try myself. He was positive and it was great to get the follow on reminder sheets. Thanks Alex!

Merryn is a lovely dog who really wants to please, but gets very excited on walks and pulls like a train. Although I find it relatively easy to teach owners to teach their dogs to walk to heel on a slack lead, I believe it is also important to look at everything else that they do both in and out of the home. The better a dog listens inside, the better they will listen to an owner on a walk. Can’t wait to catch up with them both in a few weeks.

I am so glad we decided to have a session with Alex. Ellie is walking so much better and not as reactive when we meet other dogs. We are continuing to work on the techniques that Alex showed us and seeing the benefit on a daily basis. Alex explained everything really well and we were very comfortable with him. We were supplied with information by email to refer to if needed. We would definitely recommend to anyone struggling with their dog's behaviour.

Alex dealt with Barking, Hyperactivity, Jumping up, Pulling, Puppy management, Separation anxiety
Alex was fantastic on this first visit to start working with Obi. Really took time to get to understand us all and the problems we were facing with Obi's separation issues. Everything was so well explained and demonstrated and broken down into really easy to understand and follow lessons. We have already spotted a massive difference in Obi's kitchen manners and when out walking on a lead. Can not wait to work with Alex further over the coming year.

I am meeting more and more dogs that worry when left alone and it can take a while to resolve this behavioural issue, but with some hard work and some consistent ground rules, we can definitely teach a dog that they don’t have to worry when left alone. Looking forward to catching up with them all.

Alex was brilliant with AJ! After we told him about us and AJ, he immediately identified where AJ's issues are stemming from. He gave us a lot of useful information and a lot of exercises to do with AJ. It is currently working very well and we can see the progress in AJ's behavior and ours as well, as owners! Highly recommend Alex!

I enjoy all of my training sessions, but this session went better than I thought it would and I was delighted with how calm AJ was at the end of the session, compared to how he was when I first entered their home (when he was rather barky!). Its important that everybody in the home gets on board with the training as consistency is key. I have received a further update to say that AJ is continuing to improve which is lovely to hear. Keep up the good work!

Alex was very patient with Richmond and talked through the basics. The exercises went well, as did the outside work. We purchased a WaggWalker harness which has been very good. Looking forward to the next session.

Alex is very friendly and great as a behaviourist! He provided us with many useful information, tips and tricks. He also showed us how to work with our dog so he’s more obedient and confident. We had a great first session and already see some results! Much appreciated!

We had Alex come to our home just over a month ago now to help us with our cockapoo Sergio.
We needed help with some problems such as boredom whilst we wasn’t home, even after 1 hour 30 min walks per day, getting crazily excited and jumping on people and dogs when coming into our home and lastly pulling on walks especially when he’s seen another dog unable to calm down afterwards.
We were unsure how to deal with these problems as Sergio is very clever, so we felt as though he was outdoing us.
Alex was a lovely man, very calm and very knowledgeable.
Alex taught us so much and it was all so simple and easy to put into place and it’s made a world of difference for us!
There are still some minor improvements needed but it’s a marathon not a sprint so we’re still chipping away and hoping everything Alex taught us will soon become second nature to us all.
We’ve had great results that’s been noticed by family, friends and daycare so we would highly recommend Alex to anybody needing help.

Communication with Alex has been swift, polite and informative from the outset. Our first lesson with Alex was brilliant - he put us at ease straight away and we learnt so much just from one visit alone. We would highly recommend Alex and we're excited to see our hard work (and Alex's advice!) pay off with our little dog Louie in the near future.

Alex came to my house as I had a few issues with a rescue pomeranian. From the moment we met him, he put us all at ease, including Poppy. Our main issue is that whilst she is out on a lead, she constantly barks at everything and just doesn't enjoy her walks. He explained that the training starts inside the house and as soon as she knows I am in charge and will look after her she will start to relax. We have been practising for 2 days, and the results so far are amazing. We no longer have barking in the house and have seen a massive improvement on walks. We have a way to go yet to get a relaxed poppy outside, but with our homework, I am sure we will get there. I can not thank Alex enough for showing us what we need to do.

When working with any dog with behavioural issues it’s important to work out the route cause as to why they are behaving in the way they are. With the correct training and some management , we can then start to improve their behaviour. As her owner mentioned, the reason Poppy barked on walks was mainly down to the fact that she spent a lot of her time at home barking out of the window. Once she was no longer barking at home, she became so much calmer on walks.That’s why its so important that we look at everything they do, both inside and outside the home. Keep up the good work!

Alex was excellent , met beyond my expectations,and so far fred is doing well, will take time, but feel a lot better and only early days
