Ben has really changed the way we see and do things. We cannot thank him enough as our rescue Pointer was too much for us and we had reached exasperation point outdoors. Ben witnessed the behavioural issues and reactivity we are experiencing and noted that they are not helped by way we respond to them. Having lessons all demonstrated and stripped back without beeing blinded by science, along with a no nonsense approach is working wonders. My husband gave our Pointer a 9 out of 10 this morning for his behaviour on a lead. That would have been unimaginable 6 weeks ago. We have a long way to go but feel armed with Ben's guidance and techniques to be more in control and safe. Lots more to do but feeling positive !!

Ben was brilliant from the moment we met him; absolute font of knowledge and set the tone for the training that we are going to embark on. What I found really useful was his ability to utilise his own experience with examples.

We contacted Ben from Barkbusters as we were having issues with our 7 month old Sprocker puppy. Ben was very personable, friendly, helpful and direct. He took time to explain the theory behind the training practices and explained things clearly. He rather changed our behaviour in dealing with our dog than the dogs behaviour.After the initial lesson, which incorporated us taking control over our dog, in a firm but fair way, we were left with a much calmer, more relaxed dog and we felt able to deal with any problems we came up against. Ben our trainer was very helpful with helping us out with a very lively puppy and gave us a lot of of helpful advice.

From the 1st visit Ben was very friendly. He listened to our concerns with our 2 dogs and even witnessed some of them. A clear plan was done and emailed to me to ensure I could refer back to it. We still have some way to go but after 2 weeks we have a much calmer house. Both dogs are more settled and their behaviour has improved. I really thought i would have to consider getting rid of one of my dogs but Ben has given me the tools to gain control back. He is always calm and professional and has been a godsend giving me the confidence to have calm happy dogs.

We had a fantastic experience with Ben, who came to our home to work with our 12-week-old Pomapoo puppy, Bobby. From the start, Ben took the time to really understand the issues we were facing — particularly Bobby’s early signs of aggression and his tendency to ignore corrections. Ben’s approach was calm, clear, and incredibly effective. He showed us how to use body language more confidently and taught us how to make our verbal commands more meaningful. The change in Bobby has been amazing — he’s now much more relaxed, attentive, and clearly sees us as his leaders. We feel much more confident as dog owners thanks to Ben’s guidance, and we’ve already seen lasting results. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for support with their pup!

In the space of just over 2 hours Ben had taught us & our dog, how to behave towards each other. A simple process applied as instructed has transformed a very lively strong willed puppy into a well behaved delight. We now feel confident that our canine relationship has improved enormously.
