Sharon came and spent just over three hours with us on our initial session and was extremely professional, friendly and easy to work with. Her understanding of our dog was exceptional, and she explained everything to us in a clear and easy to understand manner. She helped us to understand the why behind our dogs' behaviours and then also how to recognise things we previously had not. It has been a week since Sharon came and already with the comprehensive training plan Sharon gave us along with consistency from us, I can see an improvement in our dog's behaviour. We purchased the silver plan, so we have Sharon’s advice and expertise for twelve months as we know some of the behaviours our dog displays won’t go overnight but already, we are feeling much more confident with how to handle situations and ensure our dog feels safe and comfortable at all times.

We have a six year old Maltese dog that we re-homed eleven months ago. He is a lovely friendly dog and is great with people, however he has severe reactivity to other dogs. We have tried through our knowledge of dog ownership to help him, but nothing seems to work, and walks were very stressful. Our first visit with Sharon was an eye opener. She is very approachable and straight away put us at ease. She arrived well prepared with a lesson plan, but first spent sometime talking to us and assessing the problem. Sharon gave us lots of advice that included nutrition and training exercises. We now have a training plan that we are following and already seeing some progress. We are also having puppy management for our other dog and that is going well. Sharon is returning soon and we are looking forward to the next phase of training. Thank you Sharon and Barkbusters.

Really pleased with our training session with our bark busters trainer, Sharon Chapman. She is very approachable, and put us at ease whilst explaining the training approach is simple terms. We're enjoying the training with our dog, Willow and Sharon will come back to see us in a few weeks to see how were getting on, develop the training further and conduct some training outdoors. After one session I’ve already seen a change in my dog. He’s calmer, better behaved and I genuinely think he’s happier. Sharon’s understanding of dogs and why they act the way they do in certain situations is amazing. I must have said “oh my god that makes so much sense” at least 10 times. Very informative and relatively easy. I saw improvement immediately and felt very confident moving forward. However, I know now that it is important to keep in touch with your trainer and tell her / him how things are going. Things are starting to slip because I thought I could do it all!
