Alex the trainer was very patient professional approachable and put us all at ease. The information he gave us to deal with our dogs behaviour has been life changing, we can actually go for a walk with a dog who is not as anxious and noisy making for an enjoyable walk. I cannot believe how the simple changes we have now made have made such a difference in under a week.

This was a really rewarding session, and although I know what I teach can help, even I was surprised at how calm all 3 dogs were when we took them out for a walk at the end of their first training session. Can’t wait to catch up in a few weeks to find out how they are all doing. Keep up the good work!

Alex was great, very relaxed to be around but got the job done! Really liked how he wasn’t too strict but his techniques made a difference already! We’ve only had one session and Raffy is responding well, looking forward to the next one!

Alex was absolutely wonderful - from the minute he stepped through our front door he reassured us both that any issues we were facing could be corrected with a bit of patience and consistency. He spent as much time training us as the owners as he did Rudi which was super helpful and gave us the confidence to continue the training after he had left. In the weeks since our first lesson we have noticed how much more settled Rudi is and how well he is reacting to being in a routine with lots of mental stimulation to tire him out. As a beagle Rudi can go for hours physically and so it was vital that we nailed some mentally challenging activities for him so he was more settled and started to get some much needed sleep. We can't wait to see Alex again to start taking the next steps in Rudi's training.

I was impressed with how he did on the initial session recently I went back to see them for their first follow up session. I was delighted with his progress. He is still an excitable young dog, but he did settle quicker. Looking forward to catching up with them all again.

Amazing first session!! We have a very anxious 2 Yr old GSD. He is extremely reactive to strangers. After our first session Alex was able to walk alongside him without reaction which is a massive achievement. He was also able to be in the house without Bruce going crazy. Training was explained really well and the difference already has been great. Excited to see how we can build on this to help settle Bruce's anxiety.

Alex was very knowledgeable and gave clear instructions and advice for training Jessie. From when he first walked in he had a calm energy which Jessie warmed to straight away, and she’s normally very wary of strangers coming into the house! Alex demonstrated different techniques to practise to prevent Jessie from reactive barking when people walk past or arrive at the house, we also practised kitchen manners and walking on the lead. We were impressed that we were able to walk without Jessie pulling in such a short space of time. Alex spent the time explaining the reasons behind Jessie’s behaviour and why certain training works which was really interesting, and whilst there was a lot of information to try and take in, Alex sent some follow up notes which was helpful. Whilst on the whole Jessie’s behaviour is already good and we just wanted some advice on a few things, I would definitely recommend Alex to any dog owner wanting any level of support with training their dog.

Overall Jessie is a well behaved young dog. Sometimes it’s simply a matter of fine tuning the owners skills to ensure their dog grows up to be the best version of themselves. I’m looking forward to catching up with them all to see how they are all getting on.

I really enjoyed the session its amazing watching Alex train Holly and how
quickly she responds to his commands and how he trained me to train Holly!!

I am not a review writer. But Alex 100% deserves one! He came to work with ME & also my dog Rufus. I put me in capitals as it is me who did not have the right knowledge or tools to deal with some of Rufus’s behaviours. Examples- constant barking at any noise, destroying Mail, following me everywhere(even the loo????) going crazy at someone knocking on the front door(and I mean crazy) trying to control guests and me by barking over conversations until the guest gives in and sits so he can sit on them(on guard) and control. When I wrote to Alex to ask for Help I described Rufus as a idiot as he was acting like one??????? In just 3hours I can safely say that Alex has changed our lives. I can not express my gratitude for the transformation I can see in Rufus in not even one day. I have continued to use Alex’s methods and I am completely gobsmacked that Rufus is actually listening and obeying me. Moving forward, I am excited to see where this can go as Rufus is relaxed and it’s almost like he was waiting for this guidance and likes the boundaries, it was Me who didn’t know how. And it doesn’t involve shouting, screaming or giving in to Rufus. I can now see he isn’t a idiot at all. I was just not being clear about what I wanted or how to do it. Alex is a lovely man. There’s no judgement and I felt immediately comfortable . He explains everything clearly and he shares valuable knowledge giving clear instructions on how to deal with particular unwanted behaviours. Bottom line, if you need help with your ‘idiot’ and your reading this, don’t bother searching any further. Alex is open and honest, and offers further support if required. He also sends lots of info via email in relation to Diet etc. Thanks again Alex. Jo & Rufus!!!

He does get over excited when anybody knocks at the front door and some behavioural issues take longer to fix than others, but I’m confident they’ll get there. At the end of the session he was so much calmer and he was fast asleep when I left. keep up the good work!

Having been a dog owner for many years I believed I had a pretty good understanding of how to bring up my dog. After 3 hours with Alex I realised I still had a lot to learn. Alex demonstrated considerable knowledge and understanding of dog behaviour and how to manage it both to improve the confidence of my dog and his happiness. I experienced immediate and very positive changes in my dogs behaviour as I altered the way that I treated him.

I’ve been helping people with their dogs for eight years now, and I’m learn a little more every time a work with a dog. Alex was extremely approachable and picked up on our requirements very quickly . He demonstrated thoroughly helpful techniques to help control Sophie's excitement . It was very useful for us to model these techniques with Alex and refine them . We saw immediately a good response from our dog .
We will continue to practise with Sophie and feel much happier that we will now see success .

As Alfie is our first ever dog, I felt I needed training and Alex made me feel at ease and not at all stupid. He gave me simple and easy to follow instructions. One month down the line Alfie is getting a lot better (bar his 6 month adolescent tantrums when he doesn't want to listen on occasions lol). More importantly Alfie is at ease with Alex. I would recommend Alex

It’s been a year of puppies - some first time puppy owners, some experienced dog owners, but regardless of experience, all puppies can have their challenges. We are never going to fully train a puppy or its owner on one session, but with ongoing support we can make them the best version of them selves which is extremely rewarding!
