When Sharon arrived for her appointment Bella gave a good demonstration of her problem behaviour. She barked non-stop and jumped up at Sharon. Sharon was able to show how to control Bella. During the session she provided a detailed explanation of a dog's behaviour and what steps we could take to control it by e.g. Door control. The session lasted over three hours and we found Sharon to be helpful, practical and reassuring. She left leaving us with instructions to practice the 'bah' technique and front door manners.

We were pleased to see Sharon after struggling with some behaviour from our dog. She has given us a plan of action to start work on straight away with demonstrations and explanations on how and why to do this. This has given us confidence and knowledge to work towards resolving the issues, including jumping up at visitors and barking and lunging towards other dogs in the street. We have overhauled the diet as recommended and look forward to further support as we continue through the program.

I was impressed with the first visit from Sharon who stayed for over three hours. She took me through many techniques. The results so far have been mixed. My puppy is not responding to my attempts to make it pee in the appropriate area though it generally does poop there. However my puppy is still only 8 weeks old and it was only a week ago when I saw Sharon. It does not help that I live in a first floor flat with no access to a garden. The games shown to me and techniques to lessen whining are already showing results. Overall I was impressed by Sharons' attitude and application. I am confident that she is determined to turn my puppy ( a border collie) into a well behaved adult dog. It is, however, a little early to assess whether the service is value for money but so far so good.

Sharon is calm and very patient. She gives encouragement even when I am not getting it quite right. I had my second session with her on the 29-10-15 and was helped me to improve my technique (that was introduced on the 19th, first session)to support my two dogs to stop pulling on the lead. We have "homework" including exercises that help the dogs focus and listen to me which in turn helps with our focus on walking on the lead.

We have been working Sharon for several months now to learn to manage the whirlwind pooch that is Belle! Thus far she has managed to turn a pretty dire situation (where we weren't sure if we were the right home for her), into a much more settled home (where this little rescue dog definitely rules the roost!) From dietary advice, attentiveness training, loose lead walking and generally helping us all find a mutual way to 'communicate' and start to have some fun....we can't thank you enough Sharon, and are all really looking forward to future sessions to continue the good work already started.

We had an intense 3 hour session during which we received very valuable advice which we now endeavour to put into practice. Whilst Lucca had been to puppy and dog training as part of a group this is on an altogether different level . We were informed of aspects which we had previously not appreciated - for example "door manners" and how to contol them by growling at Lucca. All in all a good experience provided by a consummate professional.

Another great session today, discussed concerns in depth and Sharon helped me understand how and why the techniques help me communicate with Milo. Feeling excited about the future, thanks Sharon! x

Thank you Sharon for your visit yesterday. I took Dora and Poppi out for their morning walkies this morning, on their new leads, and for the first time I was not pulled from pillar to post. They walked by my side for most part of our walk. We have a long way to go, but im sooooo impressed with how they are responding after only one day of training. Looking forward to your next visit and more training techniques. Oh, and thanks for the feeding tips too. They enjoyed their first Meal from the supplier your suggested this morning 

Excellent from Sharon, making us feel confident. Put us right in our approach. For example I was perhaps over enthusiastic in playing encouraging Bruce to mouth my wrists and jump up! Now not doing, most of the time.

Sharon has spent 3 sessions to date with myself and my Border Collie Jake and a total of almost 7 hours. Sharon has shown me how to get Jake to pay attention when out on walks and we are working currently on his pulling on the lead and over the last few weeks this has improved tremendously. He is much more focused on me when out on walks and his obedience has improved dramatically too. The reason I started with Barkbusters was due to Jake chasing and nipping cyclists and although this is still an issue, Sharon has shown me how using a long line I can still enjoy walking Jake in areas where cyclists may be. Sharon will be working with us on this particular problem once Jake is totally focused and paying attention to me. I used to dread taking him out for walks but now this has become enjoyable again thanks to Sharon. There is still a long way to go but with the Lifetime guarantee I am not worried if it takes a few more months as long as I keep seeing improvements which as long as I am following Sharon's techniques I am doing.

On the initial visit Sharon took a comprehensive history of our time with Harvey. She gave us dietary advice which we took and changed Harvey's diet, which has had positive effects, he has lost weight, his coat is shining and healthy looking and we also feel the dietary change has had a calming effect on his behaviour. All the behaviour training advice has been useful and we have persevered with it. Sharon is excellent at explaining things and takes time with you when it's needed.
