We honestly couldn’t recommend Abi highly enough! From the moment she arrived, she was warm, approachable and immediately put both us and our puppy Monty at ease. As first time puppy owners, we wanted to make sure we were giving Monty the best possible start and helping him grow into a calm, confident and well-mannered dog and we came away from our first session feeling so much more confident ourselves. Abi spent plenty of time getting to know Monty and understanding both what we were already doing and the areas where we wanted some support. Nothing felt rushed or generic, everything was explained clearly, demonstrated with Monty and then practised with us so that we understood not only what to do but why we were doing it. We covered so much, including crate training, boundaries, impulse control, puppy biting, barking, independence and preparing Monty for walks and new experiences. We particularly appreciated that Abi recognised the things we were already doing well while giving us really practical changes and exercises to work on. We started putting her advice into practice straight away and have already seen some really positive progress with Monty’s crate naps and his ability to settle. What we loved most was that Abi completely understood the kind of relationship we want with Monty. We absolutely want him to have lots of love, cuddles, fun and adventures, while also helping him learn to be patient, confident and well mannered. Her advice felt really tailored to helping us achieve exactly that. It is also incredibly reassuring knowing that Abi is there to support us as Monty grows and that we can go back to her with questions and challenges along the way. Fear aggressive Cane Corso. What a wonderful training experience. I have 2 cane corsos with one specifically displaying fear aggression. I have been turned down by every company I phoned and most never even returned my calls messages or emails. I was completely desperate as he’s overall a fantastic dog with a lot of potential and the faults with the dog are clearly a me issue. From the moment I received a callback from bark busters every single person I was in contact with was nothing short of fantastic. The support I received was something I could never even imagine getting. Never felt judged for any mistake I made. Abi and Kirsty have equipped me with very valuable tools to navigate my situation with objective is a very tricky one. I don’t think I can recommend them hard enough. Thank you so so much!

Emma gave us clear explanations of the philosophy and techniques of her dog training methods which I found very helpful. I think Posie did too as being I am sure a bit of a "dog-whisperer" she left Posie in a calmer state .

Emma is an extremely knowledgeable, friendly and patient person who has made such an impact on my dog within minutes of meeting him. Emma watched my dog, Charlie, for a few minutes and immediately knew the cause of his behavioural issues and told us exactly what needed to happen to resolve these issues. Emma talked my partner and I through how my dog feels, how he thinks and how we need to act to promote better behaviour, this meant I was confident in what I was asking of my dog. Throughout the lesson I felt listened to, I felt my dog was being listened to and was given real (and easy) ways to promote good behaviour without rewarding with treats - which is exactly what I was after. The 12 month or lifetime guarantee is one of the best things I've seen. I doubt that I will need to use this, but this is what made me book - as I knew that I wasn't going to be left and having to pay again for help if i needed it. Emma was amazing! She came into our home and met with myself and Pongo. Emma helped to identify and address issues that we were having in the home - some of which I hadn't realised and straight away gave me the tools to change things. I also changed Pongos diet with Emma's help and advice and seen massive improvements. I have had a session in walking today and after just one hour I couldn't believe the difference. Having never been able to walk him to heel I have managed that today and with practice I am confident waking will now be a pleasure. Emma is very kind and patient and happily answered all my silly questions!
