We were impressed with the professional, experienced approach from Kevin McDonnell. We liked the fact that the dog was looked at as an individual and that no treats or punishments were recommended in helping correct his behaviour, instead the techniques used were acceptable and effective. We have already noted an improvement in Lincoln's behaviour.

I was absolutely amazed with Kevin's traning techniques. It was a lovely experience seeing my dogs learn so quickly and calmly . I would recommend bark busters to people in the future & I was very happy with Kevin McDonnell. Just after one day my dogs are doing what I want them to do and that is making my life so much easier. I'm thrilled .. It was worth every penny!

Kevin arrived on time, his training was very clear and gave me confidence to use the techniques he told us about. I love my dog but he was a real handful. Kevin has made us realise we were causing a lot of the problems and now we feel confident to manage the behaviours as they arise.

Kevin was very approachable and very friendly. He spent a lot of time explaining the reason for our dog's behaviour and we were able to go through all of the habits that were troubling us. His methods were easy to understand but very effective and Charlie was already showing signs of improvements despite his stubborn nature. With more practice we hope to see a continued improvement. Highly recommended and hopefully will change our life!!

We recently rehomed Tye, our 8 year old staffie who had a few issues such as jumping up and pulling on the lead, especially towards other dogs which meant we were always wary. Upon meeting Kevin, he explained that Tye was simply excited to meet the other dogs and not wanting to hurt them, which in turn has made us more relaxed. Kevin taught us some simple but very effective techniques which worked almost immediately. We were initially cautious about how effective the training would be. However, there was no need to be as Tye is now a completely different dog after just 3 hours. We would highly recommend Kevin to anyone considering a trainer!

Having previously had a measure of despair that Alice, a rescue bull terrier of 8 years of age, could be cured of her fearful aggression, we are very reassured and encouraged by what Kevin has told us about the dog's personality, what approach we should adopt and what he has shown to be possible with her, given time and effort. Both the indoor work on our style of command and response to behaviour, and outdoor work in a typical problem situation were extremely useful. The guidance on equipment was helpful; in particular, the collar Kevin supplied us with looks as if it will be invaluable.

I was apprehensive calling a dog therapist to help with my dogs behaviour. After the first lesson, I am amazed by how much Storm and myself have learned. After 1 day of following the exercises Kevin advised, I could actually open my front door wide and my dog remained in the front room. He could see the door open but did not attempt to run out. This is amazing! We will be going out for a walk soon, after a calming exercise has been done. I am positive, in no time, my dog and I can enjoy going out for walks again, without it being a stressful event. Kevin, thank you so much!

Kevin's visit was absolutely amazing. We noticed a difference straight away which we weren't expecting. Kevin is an approachable, calm and patient trainer. His techniques are simple and easy to follow and kind to both animal and human. I will be recommending him to my friends who also have troublesome dogs.

Kevin was very good, very clear in all methods of training we had to do with the dogs ,we saw a change right away with both dogs.We had a very positive result on our afternoon walk with Sophie.Many thanks to Kevin and will continue to use everything he told us.

An eye opening experience. Kevin is very friendly, bang on time and explained the techniques very clearly. We enjoyed the session and would recommend this to anyone we know wanting help train their dog.

Kevin came out to us last week after we contacted him about our two American Bulldogs, Holly and Dodge (3 years old). We spent some time talkin through the problems with him and then he talked us through what we were going to do that day. He quickly pointed out to us that the dogs were very dominant over us and we needed to change it to make them realise that they didn't rule the house. Once we started the training we noticed a difference in them both within minutes! We were only working with them for around 3 hours but the difference was amazing. We have since carried on with his techniques and they are completely different dogs, no more barking and running to the door, no more pulling on the lead, no more running up to other dogs, no more barking at people and no more ruling the house. We are only into day 6 of the changes but couldn't be happier. We had been contemplating getting in contact with a trainer for some time but always put it off, but it is definitely the best thing we could have done and we are so much happier now that we are more in control of our dogs. Kevin was so friendly and positive throughout, he didn't focus on the negatives or what we had done wrong but kept it all positive and praised both us and the dogs at every step. If you are thinking about getting in contact with a trainer we would definitely recommend Kevin (We have already recommended him to some of our friends), he has changed ours, and Holly and Dodges lives for the better and we are so grateful. Excellent! Very thorough, easy to follow programme of activities presented in a logical stepwise manner. Great practical support out and about with lots of reassurance and praise (for both dog and human!). Immediate and consistent improvements to dog's behaviour. Follow up supportive email and phone call to check progress. Would definitely recommend Kevin McDonnell to others.
