Alex is fantastic my Dogs are very chatty when anyone knocks on the door and from just having our first training session they have shown a great improvement. I have learnt to be more of a leader with them rather than a soft mum. Telling Alex all the issues I have with them, he showed me how to deal with them and my dogs reacted to his command straight away almost making me out to be a liar like butter wouldn't melt in their mouths......Jasper and Millie have picked up very quickly how to behave and I just need to implement this every day with them training myself more to be in control rather than them. I'm looking forward to our next training lesson and hoping to show Alex well behaved dogs. I highly recommend Bark Busters, they are so helpful and always there to give advice anytime.

Alex taught us simple techniques to reorient the relationship between us and our 2-year old dog. The exercises Alex showed us could be done quickly and are easy to assimilate into our busy lives. He was patient teaching us how to handle our dog and our dog responded well very quickly. The key will now be employing what Alex taught us consistently, but Alex provided us with a great foundation.

This was a really good session. I went to help them with their younger dog, but whilst their we did a little work with their older dog as well. By the time we finished both dogs were listening better in the home and were both walking much better on their leads.

Alex was really friendly and we made good progress with Reggie (6month old cockapoo boy) within the first hour. By the end of the session, I had several techniques to keep him in check and by the end of the same day, I'd all but managed to stop Reggie jumping up to me. This is an ongoing process, of course, but for one day I'm very pleased. We also did some lead work and this morning Reggie walked for about 20-25 minutes through central Manchester consistently at heel. I thoroughly recommend Alex to anyone needing some help with their dogs.

I love working with first time puppy owners. Some puppies are naturally easier to train than others, but all benefit from simple ground rules. Reggie was already doing really well, but by the time we finished he was walking really well to heel. Can’t wait to catch up with Reggie and his owner in a few weeks.

We have been so impressed with the training. Alex spent a good 3 hours working with us and showing us how to work with our dogs effectively. We have continued to put into practice all the techniques and tips and they are responding well. Alex has an amazing way with the dogs and it is clear that he enjoys what he does as they instantly responded positively towards him.

2 lovely Cockapoos who were generally well behaved, but they had been busy training their owners. My training is really about training the owners rather than their dogs as it is more important they listen to them rather than me. With some simple ground rules, both dogs started to listen better and both walked really well to heel. I’m looking forward catching up with them soon.

Alex was very thorough and explained the mechanics and theory behind the training so we understood as dog owners why the changes in managing Vera were necessary. Vera responded really well inside the house and outside and the change in behaviour was noticeable within days. Vera's lead control is better already and we will continue to work with Alex over the next 12 months with Vera's anxiety with dogs and cars while on the lead. It has only been 8 days since the training session and things are going well.

We had our first lesson with our new puppy Bob, a springer spaniel! Our teacher was Alex, very good at his job, very friendly, very knowledgeable about the training, we seem to be doing ok with the training! As he made it look easy steps to follow! He gave us plenty of time to cover lots of areas of training we needed with our puppy! Due to book more sessions as we feel it would be good to catch up to see our progress! Very pleased with Alex's training plan, he was very informative, and his love of Dogs shone through. Can't wait for our next lesson. There was no pressure to book again but the offer is there to take up!

Alex came today,and though it was Friday 13th its been the best thing we ever did just wish we had done it 9 years ago w/beadle Alice.Alex came to help us with rescue dog Bobbi but he also help with Alice when he went for walk w/them.we have done all that he told us to do and just to day and this evening we have seen the difference.A very nice kind and sincere man,and as my hubby said when he had left he knows his job.thank you Alex.

We booked Alex to help us manage out two chihuahuas. He taught us how to use our tone of voice when correcting thier behaviour. I couldn't belive the change in them in just a few hours into it, they are no longer jumping up, we have been practicing each day nd they have taken to it so well. We would like to thank Alex for all his help and we couldn't recommend him enough!! Xx

What a change in a week, Kessy my Rottweiler would show some agression whenever she saw another dog and we couldnt watch any animal programs on TV without her lunging towards the TV, this week we have walked Kessy with an 100% improvement already in her reaction to other dogs and last night after doing some of the techniques Alex showed us Kessy setttled down and fell asleep whilst we watched an animal program on TV, I am sure we havent cured the issues completely just yet but what a start and all down to Alex giving us the confidence to believe that we can change things for the better.

Despite being sceptical that anything would work we were amazed at the progress made in the initial 3 hour session. The following 48 hours were fantastic following Alex's advice and the change in Millie is instantly noticeable by educating ourselves on how to behave around her. We were we're also impressed with Alex's honesty that further visits were probably not necessary if we followed his training instructions and recognised that he was genuinely concerned for our dogs welfare and not simply in it for the money. Millie is a lovely little dog, but she thought she was the boss. My training is all about educating the family rather than their dog, as it is more important that they listen to them rather than me. Although we can always make a difference with the initial session, follow up support is generally required. However sometimes I honestly don’t feel follow up support is required. The option to upgrade is still their but fingers crossed they learnt enough to continue their training without me. Keep up the good work!Â
