Alex was amazing with our dogs. They immediately responded to his techniques to the point that it looked like we had called him in for well behaved dogs. Nice easy to use techniques, especially having two we were finding it hard to teach them both at the same time. The behaviour has improved immediately and we are enjoying continuing our homework with them on a daily basis and feel it has greatly increased our bond with them as they are being more attentive to us now waiting for instruction rather than ruling our home.

My training is all about restructuring the family pack so that dogs feel safe, respect and listen better to their owners. Owners can then teach them which behaviours they are happy with and which they aren’t. In turn, this should improve the bond between owner their dog(s).

Day 3 after Alex came and saved us. Poppy is no longer a barker and has learned the pecking order in the house. So far so wonderfully good. Thank you Alex so much, mum couldn't cope with the barking because of her Alzheimer's and was ready to re home Poppy. Money well spent.

We generally get results sooner rather than later, but Poppy did really well and no longer barked at animals on the TV by the end of the initial session.

Me and my girlfriend haven't left our house in over 6 months, due to our dog with severe separation anxiety, and we were having issues with her giddiness and jumping up at people and being overly clingy with us. Separation anxiety can make an owner feel like they are a prisoner in their own home. They worry as to what they will return to if they go out, even for just a short while. Plus they worry about their dog being unhappy and stressed! My job is to determine the root cause of any behavioural issue and then give the owners the tools and skills to resolve the issue(s). Some issues can virtually be resolved by the end of the first session, however some can take time. Separation Anxiety is often a slow burner, but if the owners are prepared to put the work in, we’ll get there in the end. I’m looking forward to catching up with these 3 in a few weeks!

I really enjoy my job, but some sessions are more rewarding than others. I went to see a rather concerned owner who felt his dog didn’t listen and was over excitable. The session went really well and they both responded really well to the training. She is no longer an over excitable little girl who does not listen to her Dad. Well doe both

Alex came on time on Thursday morning I found him to be very pleasent and I must say Benji responded very well to the training he talked me through everything step by step he taught me to teach my dog that I'm the boss and I'm so glad I have met Alex as I now know more than I did before he came just simple instructions on how to get Benji to react how I want him to and not how he thinks he should I think it will take a while to get used to doing things differently but at least now I have the knowhow. It was a pleasure to work with Alex such a pleasent person to learn from I would definitely recommend him to other people thank you

Benji is a lovely little dog, but he had devolved a habit of barking at the slightest noise. Both Benji and his owner did really well and by the end of the first session he had virtually stopped barking, and his owner was able to refocus him quickly if he felt the need to bark. I was delighted with how well the session went and I’m looking forward to seeing how things progress.

Alex was really helpful in every way. Explaining the different techniques to use to control Bella, as she is adopted. Pulling on lead technique shown to me, it has been a week since I've used the technique shown to me and Bella does not pull much on the lead and stays by my side. In house training still needs a little more working on. But I am sure I will get there with Alex's help. Overall I am satisfied with the training.

Alex dealt with Aggression

Alex listened to all our concerns regarding jack's aggression towards other dogs. We did some training in the house and garden. Alex brought out his cuddly labrador toy and Jack reacted with aggression towards it. We went out for a walk with Jack and he behaved very well for Alex. We passed only a few people with dogs and Jack Didn't react? Alex has given us tips and training methods which we are working on and have seen a slight improvement in Jack.

Alex was great, we now have the tools to start taking command of our dogs and to get them listening. Pete is particularly aggressive and Alex was able to bring them down and I was amazed how they settled within a couple of hours training. I found it very useful and will be enforcing what we have been taught today. Having 2 young dogs who can be aggressive has proven very difficult for us as they bounce off each other, we have been able to get them to listen and I am amazed how simple tools can be so effective. I am looking forward to seeing Alex again for the next steps in our training.

Alex came to help train me and my dog Casper, he's a one year old cocker spaniel, I can honestly say I'm amazed, he's like a different dog, I've been working with Cas everyday since Alex came and he is doing things I never thought he would do. He stays at the bottom of the stairs with no barking and watches me go up instead of pushing past me and his walks are a pleasure now as he walks to heel. Thanks to Alex's training I can't wait to take him out now. He sits at the side of the road until I say. He doesn't bark as much but that is a work in practice. I am so thankful for Alex he is truly amazing. I'm so happy I paid for a years guarantee so I can call Alex when I'm ready to move on to no lead and recall. Thank you Alex, I would recommend you in a heart beat. Also, Casper no longer jumps up at people or me when I come in the door.

We found Alex's training and assessment of the situation very helpful. Previously we had attended puppy classes where we found the explanations somewhat vague and non specific and as we ran into issues with barking we were getting conflicting information from lots of sources. Alex clearly showed us by example the best way to deal with our puppies behaviour and how to show him passive leadership. He also had a very holistic approach helping us identify what in our puppies environment and daily life could be causing the problems we were having to worsen. We ended the session with specific direction and actions to take which was great, and we felt more empowered than we had in ages. Following the session we followed Alex's advice and have changed the way we deal with our puppy to try and help him be less stressed.

This was a great session. I love the challenge of working with nervous dogs who are protective of their home. I will never rush a session and it’s crucial that we take it at the dogs pace. By the end of the initial session, there was no barking when I entered the house which was a great result! Looking forward to catching up in a few weeks to see how he is doing.
