Where to start. I have 3 Dachshunds and 2 of them are nuts. I’m sorry I love them but they can act so wild. On Alex’s arrival I was somewhat sceptical if he could help us. They were barking, fighting and jumping frantically. An hour into the session the dogs began to respond to commands Alex taught me. And by the end of the session they stopped barking wouldn’t leave a room with out my say so and they were absolutely Exhausted as were we. When Alex left I began to cry as I have really poor health conditions and I thought I may have to get my dogs a new family. Alex thank you for making this home a happy and peaceful one in only one session. I can’t wait for the next.

Alex was absolutely wonderful - from the minute he stepped through our front door he reassured us both that any issues we were facing could be corrected with a bit of patience and consistency. He spent as much time training us as the owners as he did Rudi which was super helpful and gave us the confidence to continue the training after he had left. In the weeks since our first lesson we have noticed how much more settled Rudi is and how well he is reacting to being in a routine with lots of mental stimulation to tire him out. As a beagle Rudi can go for hours physically and so it was vital that we nailed some mentally challenging activities for him so he was more settled and started to get some much needed sleep. We can't wait to see Alex again to start taking the next steps in Rudi's training.

Unable to put into words the incredible positive impact Alex’s support, training and guidance has made. Lunar has made leaps of progress and we are continuing to work on the tools given to us. Thank you so much

Amazing first session!! We have a very anxious 2 Yr old GSD. He is extremely reactive to strangers. After our first session Alex was able to walk alongside him without reaction which is a massive achievement. He was also able to be in the house without Bruce going crazy. Training was explained really well and the difference already has been great. Excited to see how we can build on this to help settle Bruce's anxiety.

Alex was great with Max and was really helpful with the problems we had.he gave us some really good techniques to use and we have already seen positive progress. Thanks again, would definitely recommend Alex and BarkBusters.

As Alfie is our first ever dog, I felt I needed training and Alex made me feel at ease and not at all stupid. He gave me simple and easy to follow instructions. One month down the line Alfie is getting a lot better (bar his 6 month adolescent tantrums when he doesn't want to listen on occasions lol). More importantly Alfie is at ease with Alex. What a wonderful experience! Having purchased both Eric and Ernie during lockdown we were all too aware of the lack of socialisation skills and etiquette the puppies have had the opportunity to experience, and had witnessed first hand the distress of separation anxiety having been with them 24 - 7 then returning to work. After our first session with Alex we were absolutely delighted with the results. Alex was informative, and very intuitive to both puppy’s current skills levels and capacity to learn (our pups are 11 months and 3 months old, and different breeds) Alex is so knowledgeable and inspires confidence. Having been a dog owner for many years I believed I had a pretty good understanding of how to bring up my dog. After 3 hours with Alex I realised I still had a lot to learn. Alex demonstrated considerable knowledge and understanding of dog behaviour and how to manage it both to improve the confidence of my dog and his happiness. I experienced immediate and very positive changes in my dogs behaviour as I altered the way that I treated him.

With a Baby on the way we sort Alex out to help with our over excited one and a half year old Beagle Spaniel Cross (Lockdown Puppy). Archie was a little wary of him at first but quickly took to Alex no problem. We were taken through a number of training drills to help with Archies 'Door manners' and shown how to effectively correct bad behaviour without having to raise our voice. We thought Archie was a major Lead puller but it turns out with a longer lead and a little bit of technique he barely pulls at all. I've watched countless YouTube videos on how to stop pulling but they don't explain why they are doing what they do, this is where having a 1 to 1 session really helps as Alex is able to explain why what he is doing actually works, then if you know why it works its easier for you to tell if you are doing it wrong when the teacher isn't there. Alex also highlighted a number of general changes to our behaviour to become better passive leaders to Archie. Again stuff that you just wouldn't think to do or stuff that I haven't seen come up in dog training TV shows or YouTube videos. We've had just the one session but have seen big improvements already, Thank you Alex

It’s been almost 2 weeks since the training and just one visit has made a difference. There’s no more lead pulling, Lennie is more calm with continued training and noticed he is less aggressive towards strangers. Alex has been amazing and given some really good advice. I would recommend Bark Busters.
